Activity Assemble a “Showing Love” wheel. Download the wheel template or draw your own. Write some suggestions of how to show love to someone in your own home, family, and friends. Glue the paper to the back of a paper plate. Make a spinning arrow with a pushpin and paper clip. Spin the wheel each day this week and do what is written in the section in the section where your paper clip arrow lands on. Talk with Jesus before you do this and thank Him for loving you more than anything. Ask Jesus to help you do what the pin arrow lands on because you love Him and want to love others too. Teaching with the Craft – Because Jesus loves us so much, He died for us so that we can be together with Him forever someday. For now, He wants us to show our love for Him by loving others, no matter what! Sometimes, it’s hard to love others, but Jesus can help us to see that everyone is valuable to Him and we can choose to love the way Jesus wants us to love. We show this by our actions! When your paper clip arrow lands on an action, choose to do what it says because you know that Jesus loves you and wants you to love Him back by your actions. Loving Others with Grace Wheel Write your own ideas in the wheel! Assemble a spinning arrow with a push pin and paper clip.
