Lesson 02 LETTERING When you practice lettering, it can feel a little daunting. Tracing out letters can help, but practice is going to be key. Remember to slow down when note-taking. Listen for key ideas or phrases and jot them down (don’t worry about whole sentences). When you write down those key ideas, sometimes just simply writing them out (along with a Doodle (symbol) is all that’s needed. Using block lettering can take some getting used to—especially if you decide to freehand. Just remember Don’t worry about being perfect (they’re your notes)! !
