the projectThe objective of the Mission Locale Sud (Reunion Island) is the social and professional Integration of unemployed young people between 16-25 years old. This a n organisation supported by the French state.

The Leonardo trainee will work with the organisation in order to equip young people with new skills that will enable them to make more informed decisions about their live and their futures. He/She will help to offer information services, workshops

and animation activities and international opportunities. The team has 6 professional staff.

Welcome, inform, guide young people on the point of information themes:- employment, training, sports and leisure activities, accommodation, health, Europe which can help their career path of social and professional integration.

The trainee will acquire skills and knowledge for better integration Organisation competencies to pass on information or advice in an educational way, relationship adaptation, team work.

Open-mindedness, cultural immersion, new way of life, opportunity to develop socially, spirit of creativity.

Participate with staff in individual interviews, helping the young people with set tasks, and information (e.g. on Europe).

Take initiative, Advocacy, accompanying youngsters in difficulty with insertion.

Self-confidence

To participate in the weekly youth committee meetings to set up activities linked to the citizenship, leisure activities and sport.

Participation and leadership skills.

Communication , confidence & linguistic ability

Help the young people in CV writing workshop ; Help them in research in the point cyb: IT space.

Learning approaches in workshop delivery and non-formal education.

Self-confidence and communicating in a foreign language and mother tongue
