6) Reports

f) Presentation oftwo 20 minutes recesses and newschool schedule:

The new 2019-20timetable was presented to the board with theaddition oftwo 20 min. recessesand the newdismissal time.

a) Principal's Report:

- Energy Cube was a success 102513 cubes collected.

- New K-students orientation was held on May 21, 2019

-Grade 6 and K buddy system will be implemented again for the 2019-20 school year..

- Grades 2 & 5 will be getting a Space Tatk from NASA on June 4, 2019

- Fitness Day will be held on May 31, 2019

• Introduction of new activates

.^.acrian^»• We have partnered up with PaR'ncipacnan^»gnd they have donated $500 to put towards helping us stayactive.

- Our music concert will be held on June 6, 2019.

- We will be hosting a parent workshop on June 12, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (summer 2019: LetsDisconnect from the school-year routine and Reconnect the old fashioned way!)

- Grade 6 report Cards will be mailed out, all other grades will receive their report cards June 21, 2019.

- School Tools forms will be distributed with report cards. Orders can be submitted until July 6th, 2019 and Pick upwill be August 21, 2019.

- Triangulum orders will be available for pick up on August 21,2019.

- Pre-K will have their Graduating ceremony on June 19, 2019.

- K will have their Moving On ceremony on June 20, 2019.

- Grade 6 will have their Farewell walk on June 20,2019.

- Grade 6 Graduation ceremony and Party will be held on June 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Plaza Vogue.

b) Vice Principal Report:

- School Yard Supervision and Play areas have been reorganized.

c) Commissioners' Report:

Mr. Ortona gave a summary ofthe current EMSB/Point de L'lle situation and fielded questions.

d) Teachers Report:

- Grade l & 2 have joined forces with to learn about nutrition and cooking.

- Our French teachers were awarded a 500$ grant and they have decided to use that money to create a 2020Calendar and all proceeds from that sale will be donated to a woman's shelter.

-LDVA active girls group consists of 18 girls from grade 5. The girls are involved in selecting activities with the helpof the teaches who are always there to support them and act as facilitators. The girls are committed to this till theend of grade 6, they are learning leadership and independence.

e) Regional Delegate Report:

- Action Plan Grass Roots movement to save our schools Wednesday June 5th human chain.

f) Daycare Report:

- Pre-registration for 2019-20 is at 206 for regular enrolment.

g) Pre-K Report:

- The pre-K is working hard practicing for Grad.

- Orientation for K was well received by the pre-K.

h) Home and School Report;

- Movie Night will be on May 31st.

- June 17 is Fun Day (18th if it rains) outdoor activities planned.

-Jam fundraiser made 1300$ profit sold 603jars.

- 2019-20 chocolate drive pre-signed contract to close at a 56% profit.

- Bagels fundraiser profit for the month of May 264$.

- K ceremony superhero theme (capes prepared/ food and dessert taken care of)

Grade 6 grad will be held at Plaza Vogue, with a photo booth installation courtesy of our organizing committee.
