When Lendlease took the opportunity to relocate their Manchester office to a prime

building in the heart of Trafford park Manchester, they also took the opportunity to

upgrade their working environment too.

Keen to move to a premises that they could be proud to bring new prospective clients,

where better than to relocate to an office building that could literally showcase &

provide a wealth of live case study opportunity of developments Lendlease themselves

had undertaken over recent years. Their new office wasn’t only part of a vast

development but it offered fantastic panoramic views of a number of their very own

completed regeneration projects.

The only thing left now was to create an office environment that could replicate

the fine work carried out via themselves and that their own employees could thrive

in alongside a premises that they could now pro actively invite new & prospective

customers to visit.

PRODUCTS: EFG HITECH

Lendlease chose to engage in conversations with a number of furniture providers &

manufacturers, but it was EFG and our understanding of their vision that they felt fell

beautifully in-line with their brief.

Moving from a tired and dated office furniture arrangement with limited opportunity for team

collaboration, they were keen to create areas that offered flexibility and informal comfy zones

for a range of varying daily tasks. Comfy informal areas a wash with a vibrant colour pallet

that tied in nicely with their new corporate logo were created. This offered huge flexibility

for relaxing & informal drop in zones as well as one to one engagement using EFG Myspace

sofas & lounge seating.

Having originally been keen to implement a bench

style system as their standard work position of

choice throughout the new office, it was during a

showroom visit to EFG’s head office in Warrington,

that they became fixated with EFG’s Active

workstations.

Keen to future proof their business for years to come, they immediately bought into the

desk and everything it stood for, literally, and it became their status piece of furniture, nicely

complimented with EFG ONE task chairs with mesh back finish.

Other products incorporated within the project were EFG Hide Tech which was used within in

meeting and conference rooms.

UK partner furniture complimented the project nicely and both the staff, key project manager

& management were thrilled with how the project came together and how it was managed in

just a short turn around time of just 5 weeks.
