Delhi has Asia’s largest fruit and vegetable market and also Asia’s largest spice market, Khari Baoli.

The Buddha International Circuit is among the 5 top fastest circuits in the world for Formula One racing.

The country is a fusion of several cultures. It has long been known for its diversity: in race, religion, language, flora, fauna and so on. Almost all the primary religions of the world, Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity can be found here. And despite the diversity, everyone co-exists in harmony.

The festivals describe the rich heritage of the country. The festivals celebrate not only gods and goddesses but also several prime elements of life such as fire, wind, rain etc. A few festivals are Diwali – Festival of lights, Holi – Festival of colors and Pongal – Harvest festival. Eid and Christmas are also celebrated with full vigor and enthusiasm.

Sports are very popular in the country. Cricket is the most popular sport played in the country. The country has always featured among the top 5 best cricket playing nations. India has also made a mark in several other sports such as Hockey, Tennis, Boxing, Wrestling, Chess and Badminton. Consider the legend, SachinTendulkar, who is one of the finest batsmen in the world.

The country follows Democracy. Every individual is treated equal irrespective of gender, class, color or creed. Citizens are given various privileges and are have a sense of freedom. Individuals have a sense of participation in country’s affairs and each one is responsible for the country’s growth or fall as a whole.
