This is a two-year full-time post graduate comprehensive degree program affiliated to

Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU). It was designed

keeping in mind the national priorities and international practices. It aims to fulfil the

expectations of all the stakeholders of education – students, parents, faculty, industry,

government and society at large. The program structure and content is aligned with

This Sports Management Syllabus is designed for higher education, post-graduation

studies as one of the specializations in Masters of Business Administration. It ensures

access to the curriculum irrespective of gender, caste, race and religion. It is delivered

through a unique “WPU method of Education’. The syllabus helps to inculcate in

learners a clear understanding of sports management principles as they apply to

management, leadership styles, communication and motivation that will enable them to

run successful sports entities. Besides knowledge, this course enhances effective

marketing and management strategies associated with pursuing a career in sports

management and introduce students to the vast opportunities in the sports industry.

About the Program


Management education in recent years has moved beyond the basic streams in line

with changing trends. Management aspirants are also venturing to explore upcoming

streams over and above the essential fundamental ones. In modern day economy

people are more enthusiastic to become entrepreneurs as they are driven by various

factors such as independence to work, challenge seekers in life, desires to fulfil their

dreams, support from family background, lucrative market opportunity and an idea

driven mind.

MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship would help students to learn skills that will

take them from initial development of a business plan, to financing a start-up and

managing a growing business as well as shape factors such as innovative ideas,

identifying market opportunity, understanding strengths and weaknesses and risk

taking behavior more professionally in an aspiring entrepreneur.
