Political Considerations

1. An institution in each country is responsible for collecting and translating that country’s sites.

2.In some cases, like Eastern Europe, AIAC pays for the translation on a piecework basis. This requires fundraising.

3. Each country’s sites are served in the national language and English.

4. The record sheet is kept as short and simple as possible

North African Heritage Archives Network (NAHAN)

Uniting on a single platform the archives held by 22 institutions both within the Maghreb and outside it
