Lee Valley Riding Centre

You’ll enjoy horseriding at the Lee Valley Riding Centre; it’s accessible, affordable and offers an extensive

programme of activities.

The Lee Valley Riding Centre has gained Quest (UK Quality Scheme for Sport and Leisure) registration as a Registered Centre.

Take the reins and have some fun

If you’re looking for something different to do or you want to develop a particular skill, the Lee Valley Riding Centre is the perfect place for you to visit. Instruction is provided for all standards from beginner to competition level for school groups and disabled riders.

Facilities include an indoor arena and two international-size outdoor floodlit arenas, plus a cross-country course.

Kitted out?

To make the most of your riding experience hard hats can be hired. Just ask us for details and prices.

Footwear for the beginner, a strong closed shoe with a small heel will be fine. Trainers and high-heels are not allowed.

Trousers must be stretchy or loose-fitting as jeans tend to rub.

Gloves will protect your hands and prevent the reins from slipping.

Please note that no jewellery should be worn when riding and long hair should be tied back.

Call the Centre directly to find out more about the following:

• All levels of rider abilities catered for • Facilities for schools and disabled riders • Lee Valley Riding Club • Lee Valley Pony Club • Birthday parties • Show-jumping instruction

• Cross-country course • Carriage-driving • Events/competition • Gaining qualifications eg. Working Pupils

NVQ or BHS • Exam preparation • Courses for non-riders
