Our expertise Our team, headed by Claire Clark, is one of the larger, experienced legal practices dealing

Our focus
Whether you have to agree a voluntary extension with your landlord or are embarking on
a statutory extension to force your landlord to extend your lease, we will guide you
through every step of the process. We will give you a clear idea of the legal and valuation
fees.
We will deal with every aspect starting with, if a statutory extension, initial notices
through to the completion and registration of your lease extension. If need be, we will
represent you at the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal if the premium or the landlord’s costs
cannot be agreed.
Where there are a large number of tenants willing to extend their lease at the same time,
we will be happy to discuss a reduced cost to reflect multiple instructions.
Our expertise
Some firms offer this service but not many can actually claim to be experts. Our
leasehold extension team have acquired vast expertise in this field and we are recognised
nationally for our ability.
We have dealt with a large range of tenants; from a small collective of 2 or 3 tenants to a
multitude of tenants - either extending their lease by agreement or making a statutory
application to force their landlord to agree to the terms of an extension.
We will ascertain who your ‘competent landlord’ is, ensuring the right party is served with
the statutory notices. This is important to avoid wasted time and costs.
We work closely with other appointed professionals such as valuers and surveyors who
will help determine the right premium to be paid to your landlord.
