Ifecycle Policy Lab:1. Create an Amazon S3 bucket2. Under the properties section of the S3 bucket select Lifecycle3. Select Move to glacier and Apply to entire bucket checkbox.4. Set the time period to 0 which will automatically add the object to Glacier storage type upon object creation5. Upload an object to the S3 bucket and observe the storage type under the bucket listin. Youll notice it says Glacier this means that whenever an object is created/uploaded in the bucket the lifecycle policy will automatically apply it to Glacier storage. Glacier storage is $.01 per gig per month and S3 storage type is $.12 per gig per month6. Change the lifecycle policy to expire 1. Upload an object and observer after 1 day it will be deleted. If set to 0 it will be instantly deleted.Amazon Versioning Lab:1. Create a new bucket separate from your lifecycle bucket.2. Go to the properties section of your new bucket and select Versioning3. Enable versioning4. Browse your bucket and at the top select Show versions. This will list all the versions/deleted version of files that have lived in your bucket.
