Present Simple Affirmative Irregular - Have Got'Have got' is irregular in the 3rd person singular of the present simple.

The structure is:He/She/It + have + s + got

> He has got.

> She has got.

> It has got.

Short Answer BE AffirmativeQuestions answered with YES have a short answer form in English.

Structure: Yes + first two words of the question in affirmative.

Is he English? Yes, he is.

Are they sleeping? Yes, they are.

If the second word is a noun, it is replaced by the pronoun in the shortanswer.

Is Peter English? Yes, he is.

Are Jack and Jill sleeping? Yes, they are.
