LEARNING FROM HOME Dear Parents and Carers, We hope you and the children had a good half term break and enjoyed designing your own board game and book cover. We have updated the LGfL drive for this week. For English this week, the children will plan and write their own ‘warning story’ using ideas from the booklet ‘The Stone Trolls’. For Maths this week, the children will be exploring geometry. Please see the activities saved in ‘Year 3 Maths Pack Weeks 5-7’. We hope you enjoyed the Science activities! We have incorporated Empiribox to keep the lessons as similar to what they would have completed in class. They will require some equipment for an experiment, therefore at the beginning of the week click on the link provided and have a look at the items you will need so that you are prepared. If you cannot get access to these equipments, please do not worry as the experiment can be seen online. Please take photos of any Science experiments or activities your child is able to complete! Our new Geography topic is Bangladesh! This week you will be doing some research about Bangladesh and gathering facts. We hope you enjoy learning about where Mrs Ali originates from.
