Information technology has come to permeate nearly all spheres of human life. Over a few years, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has changed the traditional class rooms. The modern ICT based innovative learning methods can simply make the teaching learning process more exploratory by using quizzes, puzzles, group discussions etc. Since the students are immersed in web based technologies these days, higher educational institutions have started using Learning Management Systems (LMS). LMS is a software package that enables the management and delivery of courses to learners online. It helps to plan, implement, facilitate, assess and monitor the learning activities of students. In this context, the IQAC of Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha is organising a one day faculty development programme on 'Moodle', one of the most popularly used learning management systems. This programme is intended to develop the basic skills in 'Moodle'.
