• 1.5 million people in UK with a learning disability
• 14,000 registered with a learning disability in Wales
• Increase of 44% by 2021
• 10 time more likely to have a serious sight problem. 6 in 10 people with learning disability need glasses

• Direct correlation between known learning disability/syndromes/conditions and associated vision problems
• Less likely to access eye care
• Increased likelihood of being blind or partially sighted compared to the general population

• Pilot project in partnership with RNIB, Sense and Cartrefi Cymru
• 34 adults living in supported accommodation
