Godrej Interio is rapidly growing division of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. and leader in furniture products design and manufacturing for offices and homes in India.

• PTC’s Options & Variants module of Windchill 9.1 was configured for 11 different product range, comprising of 40-45 features in each product category and around 5–10 options against each feature.

• The GUI was configured to ask questions in logical sequence and to select options against each feature in drop down menu. Related BOM as per variant configuration was picked up from the generic BOM and new BOM of the configuration is delivered.

• Fast and easy generation of BOM of variant of complex system furniture products for costing.

• Variant BOM generation is de-skilled.

• Changes done in generic BOM through ECN automatically reflects in future variant BOM.

• No need to create BOM for pre-defined variants as the same can be created through O&V.

They helped Embrace develop an infant warmer that costs a fraction of existing solutions, and functions without a continuous supply of electricity. The design incorporates a phase change material, which stays at a constant temperature for up to 6 hours. This low-cost solution maintains premature and low birth weight babies' body temperature to help them survive & thrive.
