2014 SPRING MEETING
14spring
President’s Welcome
Planet Blue Inca Gold
2014 USCTI SPRING MeeTING SPONSORS
Welcome to Amelia Island! Our USCTI Spring Institute Meeting promises to be
a welcomed relief from the winter known as the Polar Vortex. And we thought
cryogenics was a cutting tool treatment. As my tenure begins as USCTI President,
it is my honor to represent such a fine legacy of our industry. Dave Povich and his
predecessors have left large shoes to fill, and like all of them have accomplished, it
is my intent to help make the USCTI a little better than I found it. As membership
has increased over recent years, and the quality of meetings has continued to
improve, the bar has been set high for this challenge.
This year’s meeting promises to deliver on details of today’s most prevalent topics.
From the promising future of Aerospace Markets to the Affordable Care Act to
Mergers & Acquisitions. However, the most important opportunities really arise
by being here. Not just for the substance in presentations, but for the networking
with other industry executives and the exchange of ideas that goes with it.
We will be looking for your feedback, as the USCTI Statistics Committee
has worked diligently on revamping our current market analysis. We will be
presenting the new direction for 2015 statistics and looking for your feedback.
This, and much more.
So, we look forward to seeing you in the sun. Did I mention the sun?
See you in sunny Florida,
Tom Haag
USCTI President

Programs committee chair’s Welcome
Hello everyone and welcome to the USCTI Spring Institute Meeting in beautiful
Amelia Island, Florida. We have activities scheduled for members and their spouses
throughout our three days together on the Island.
In addition to our traditional activities, we have scheduled a Beach Party Sunday
afternoon from 1:30-3:30. We will have some fun activities scheduled and there will
be a bar set up for us on the beach for all of us to enjoy a few cocktails while we
hopefully enjoy some much deserved warm weather. Please take some time to thank
the sponsors during the meetings. Without their support, these events would not
be possible.
I hope this meeting will be a great opportunity to learn, network, laugh, and relax.
I think I speak for everyone who has endured (and are still enduring) this wicked
winter, we deserve some warm weather.
Regards,
Mike Stokey
