AN INSPIRING LEADERSHIP STYLE
Larry Page
His personality is part of what makes him a great leader. Some of his traits include:
Driven ambitious collaborative
These traits are directly associated with his visions for Google. He is all for innovation. He believes that google should constantly creating and inventing things that are outside the “norm”.
“We should be building great things that don’t exist.”
Innovation
Larry is an inspiration to his employees, he challenges them to think out side of the box.
Employees are motivated to drive technology forward due to Larry’s inspiration A common phrase throughout the company is “moon shots” this phrase that
allows employees to push the boundaries of whatever is currently the “norm” This thinking pushes employees to do their best, to set their own expectations
for the moon.

Larry’s influence is living proof through the companies successes.
Google specializes in innovation, and is know for their unique advances in technology
Members of the organization also recognized Larry a great leader and describes him as someone who will truly listen to others’ ideas.
Larry Page is a leadership role model
Leaders vs Managers
At Google they have leaders, Larry Page is one of them
Because they do not have the typical culture, leading instead of managing is essential
These leaders have Visions, they are proactive and are people focused
Using those traits they are able to accomplish goals and motivate others to do so
Models of Leadership
Under the models of Leadership I would put Larry Page in the Team manager position
Although he wants to motivate his employers he also is there to assist in certain task
He is high task in means of innovation
Transformational leadership
Intellectual Stimulation the culture at google allows for this It is set up in the form of an adult playground and the
environment is low stress This is also evident in the interviews process, Google asks
you questions that will force you to think outside of the box It can only be concluded that the leaders in the organization
will maintain similar means of communicating with members of the organization
Individualize Consideration
The culture at google is so open Group work and socialization is encouraged This type of environment encourages
members to feel comfortable and share their ideas
Inspirational Motivation
The leaders at google motivate their employees to constantly grow and think differently than ways they normally would
The leaders at google think in the same ways that they encourage their employee to
Idealized influence
By doing all of the things mentioned previously their followed gain a large amount of respect for them
They will not only respect them but they will look up to them and emulate their mindsets and behaviors

Their whole “think outside of the box” axiom is evidence to this
They are all about interpretation and no right or wrong answers
