INTRODUCTION
•A true leader is one who guides people in the right direction to make use of their abilities, time, and resources.•A leader must be able to explain future trends and what people need to do in the present.•What qualities make a good leader?

1. ABILITY TO SEE INTO THE FUTURE
• A leader needs the ability to see one or two steps further than others.
• Just as a very tall person is able to see much farther than others in a crowd, a leader must see ahead of his followers.
• This requires a greatness of character and spiritual abilities.

2. ABILITY TO WIN THE TRUST
• A leader must have the ability to make people feel that if they follow and stay close, they can expect a bright future.
• He must win the trust of people to cause something good to happen.

3. PAST ACHIEVEMENTS
• A leader must have enough past achievements to convince others of his standing.
• People look to the way their leader has handled difficult situations in the past.

4. INVINCIBLE THINKING
• Invincible thinking is a philosophy indispensable for leaders.
• It is an attitude of finding something positive in all situations, and turning any situation to your advantage.
• Take every crisis or hardship as an opportunity.

5. SELF REFLECTION
• A true leader takes time for self reflection.• He looks into the depths of the inner self
and studies himself deeply.• Life is a great teacher and you learn much
from the ups and downs in life.• Nature will always provide you with
opportunities for self reflection. Utilize such occasions for introspection and strengthening of your soul.

6. LEARN FROM ADVERSITY
True leaders learn important lessons from adversity. From depths of adversity, they reach heights of achievements. They do the following at such times:
a) Never attribute their hardships to others or to fate
b) Accept what fate has given them without complaints.
c) Learn some positive lessons from every adversity
d) Never rely on the support of others. Work to break out of difficulties relying on their own strengths

7. GROUP ACTIVITY
• A true leader encourages group activity in his organization
• He never lets his own limitations restrict the work of the whole. Transcends his limitations by finding others to work with.
• Trusts his followers, gives responsibilities to them, and lets them get on with the job.
• He gets others on his side to help and support him on the job.

8.DISCOVER THE INVINCIBLE SELF
• You are what you think. Never put limits on your capabilities.
• Always believe that you have the potential to do better than what you are now.
• Integrate this into your life & manifest your thoughts by making necessary efforts.
• Progress steadily, one step at a time, & a path will open up before you.
• You will discover the self that is always victorious & invincible.

RYUHO OKAWA
• Japanese Spiritual leader and founder of Institute for Happy Science.
• Born in 1956 in Tokushima, Japan. Graduated from Tokyo University, and studied International Finance at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
• Worked for a major Tokyo based trading house till 1986,and then renounced his business career and established Happy Science.
