    EMPATHY

Intuitively, great leaders are able to see the world through their eyes and share their

perspective. I can sense the emotions of those around me. However, many times I feel pity with

each person`s dilemma and agree with each person`s perspective. Thus it made me sympathy,

not Empathy. I therefore need to develop this ability that I believe to be powerful. By hear the

unvoiced questions, I would be able to anticipate need.

DISCIPLINE (stay connected to my purpose)

Discipline is becoming my challenge that I need to focus on. Personally, I love to be ordered

and planned by set up routines and focus with timelines and deadlines. However, these past

three months, I have been giving excuses to what I had planned. Many time for reasons that

unclear and loss my focus. I believe those successful leaders need are discipline and stay

    connected to their purpose.

    RISK TAKER (maximizer)

In business, leader face risk every day and cope with that. I, many time think too much and

could not able to decide that impact to loose an opportunity. I therefore should see my self as

risk taker and out from comfort zone. However, I personally view it as maximizing thing with

new strategies; discover whats essential, whats expendable and what innovation can work. It is

all about transforming something strong into something superb and encourage others.

    EMPATHY

On my first week, I learned that empathy has made me feel what others feeling. I observed

those who have that talent at my working place. The most important thing is that I could help

people find the right phrases to express their feelings to themselves as well as to others.

However, it sometimes overwhelmed me. Therefore I need to find a way to control it. On the

other side, my team has benefited emotionally with the way I approached them at work,

especially on the deadline that we are doing at the moment i.e. Soft opening hotel.

DISCIPLINE (stay connected to my purpose)

Being discipline is a must for any leader. I have made my motto i.e. Discipline means

success. The reason is just because I need to be organized in order to reach my goal both of

individual and team. Thus I use my time wisely and effectively. On the first week, I have made

activities reminder on all of my gadgets along with carrying notes and read my goal`s plan and

target before starting my day. Indeed, it has made me full in control. However, I still have a

problem when I have to align with my team`s goal. Thus as a leader at my working place, I have

to align so that would benefit the team and me.

    RISK TAKER (maximizer)

As a risk taker, I realized that it is not always easy. There is a price that I have to consider and

accept when it is not what I expected. However, doing something differently has successfully

energized me. On my first week, I did what my peers asked me to. Thus I have made my own

motto i.e. Business needs experiments. I also able to ensure my self that experiments offer me

running room to try new strategies, to ask questions and to discover what`s essential that benefit

me and team. These are things that I havent tried. In addition, it gives me permission and

protection when I fail. However I am still trying to know my real strength in order to maximize

my potential and capability for team and me.

    EMPATHY

The problem is that I often allow our egos, opinions and judgments to get in the way of my ability

to experience and express empathy. If I agree with someone completely, can totally relate to them,

and see things exactly as they do, it's quite easy for me to empathize with them. However, if I don't

agree, can't relate, have a very different take on the situation or actually think how they're reacting

to things is potentially harmful for them and others, it's often very hard for me to be empathetic

toward them and I also worry that my expression of empathy could come across as agreement or

    endorsement.

DISCIPLINE (stay connected to my purpose)

I am not necessarily neat and clean, but I do need precision. The routines, the timelines, the

structure all of these help create the feeling of in control. Sometimes I dislike surprises and

impatience with errors. However, I do still have to increase my efficiency.

    RISK TAKER (maximizer)

Taking something from below average to slightly above average takes a great deal of effort.

Thus in my opinion is not very rewarding. Transforming something strong into something

superb takes just as much effort but is much more thrilling. I dont want to spend my life

bemoaning with my lack. I choose to spend time with people who inspire and appreciate my

strengths. I asked for help, when I need to uncover best practices.

    EMPATHY

Acting with empathy can be very difficult. Therefore the ability to empathize is recognized as a

crucial soft skill. Most often I am so blinded by my own strong opinions and my need to be right

whenever I make any decision. However, I believe I have become better at understanding the

feelings of my colleagues, but rarely do I actually share those feelings. That is because I often

lack experience. To truly empathize with somebody I have to have either shared a real

connection with him or her or the same experience. In addition, I have to make effort and do not

avoid their interest. Therefore the door for empathy opens when we suspend our disbeliefs and

openly engage new ideas. Relationship-focused success expands capacity and potential, and

empathy is a business skill that actually grows when practiced and shared.

DISCIPLINE (stay connected to my purpose)

Leadership comes more from who you are inside than from what you do on the outside. Thus

self-discipline has becoming one of traits that has to be maintained. I see myself as a productive

person and am constantly looking for ways to squeeze more out of my days. However,

implementing a framework of discipline should allow me to be more flexibility not less. The

best leaders I know are extremely disciplined people as they simply do the things others are not

willing to do. I need to become very intentional about bringing discipline to every area of my

life. Therefore I have to ensure that everything stay connected to my purpose and team by have

things on my fingerprint to keep me on track.

    RISK TAKER (maximizer)

Risk taking is a leaders willingness and ability to experiment with new concepts and ideas to

produce a greater result. However, I realized that those new ideas must be aligned with the

overall mission and vision of the organization i.e. my own company. I sometime still tend toview risk-taking negatively, often regarding it as dangerous and even unwise. But while some

risks certainly don't pay off, it's important to remember that some do. I have to reframing risk as

an opportunity to succeed rather than a path to failure. Maximizing my talent that runs in my

    blood.
