Leadership in the Isle of Wight NHS Trust

This organisation is committed to developing leaders who are able to work interdependently; have the behaviours to set an example to others; possess the business skills to deliver an effective, efficient, and high quality service; and can support their staff to provide a safe and excellent patient experience.

Leadership Framework

The Leadership Framework was developed to create a consistent approach to leadership focused on improving patient care. It applies to all healthcare staff because leadership is not restricted to people who hold designated leadership roles. We all have a responsibility for the services and care being delivered to patients and service users.

The Leadership Framework provides the means for us to develop key leadership behaviours.
