Leadership Definition
• Leadership has been described as the “process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.
• Alan Keith said "Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen.”
• A simple definition of leadership is that leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.

What did the students think?
Flynn - It’s better than the three way
conferences. I prefer it more because I can just talk to my Mum
and dad and then they get to talk.
Sophie – I think I’d rather be with Student Led Conferences
because the three way conferences the teacher was usually the one
talking.
Kayla - It’s really fun to have 45 minutes to tell your parents
about your learning. I feel really happy – it’s really fun. I liked
showing my Mum the walls, especially
the Topic wall. I most enjoyed getting
time to talk to my Mum about my
learning.
Emily – Flicking through the pages in
the Star Learning Book and showing where I am up to in my Maths
strategies
