To attract high quality leads to opt-in to your funnel, you need a lead magnet that your audience finds irresistible. By sending them follow-up emails you can continue to develop a relationship with them. And when the people on your list find that your follow-up communication helps them to solve problems, to achieve a result they want - or they get a useful tool - you establish trust with your list (your tribe).
There are different types of lead magnets.
Many lead magnets are downloadable content such as an eBook, a report, a guide, a cheat sheet, a work sheet, a resource list or a checklist.
It can also be a video (or a video series), or a podcast, an audio or a software, a plug-in, a quiz, a survey, a contest, a coupon or a free trial.

What format and type of lead magnet depends on your business, what your lead magnet is about, and also how your ideal customer prefers to consume content (reading an eBook vs. watching a video for example) and also what the most effective way to deliver your lead magnet is.

• Use their specific language
3) Be ultra specific (not vague)
• Focus on ONE problem, ONE challenge, ONE pain or ONE desire
• Offer ONE ultra specific solution to an ultra specific market
• Use specific examples, numbers, and results in your copy
4) Give immediate gratification
• The lead magnet should be quick and easy to consume - avoid long boring ebooks or too long videos
• People don’t want to spend hours to get the results, they want quick fixes and “magic bullets”
• Your lead magnet should assist in selling your offer - not be a road block in your sales funnel
5) High perceived value
