Large-sized display

In May 2004, Epson developed a 40" OLED.

Inkjet patterning technology was used to blaze the trail to larger OLED display sizes.

RGB pixel array

Printing OLED displays by inkjet

Surface energy is used to deliver droplets to the exact position.

A drying solvent is then applied, and an OLED thin film with RGBpixels is formed.
