–Donot cover the ventilation slot on theprojector.Heatbuild-up can reduce the service life of your projector,andcanalsobedangerous.

–If theprojector isunused foranextended time,unplugtheprojectorfromthepoweroutlet.

–Do not project the same image for a long time. Theafterimage may remain on the LCD panels by thecharacteristicofpanel.

Follow all warnings and instructions marked on theprojector.

For added protection to the projector during a lightningstorm, orwhen it is left unattendedandunused for longperiodsof time, unplug it from the wall outlet.Thiswillpreventdamageduetolightningandpowerlinesurges.

Donot expose this unit to rain or use near water... forexample,inawetbasement,nearaswimmingpool,etc...

Do not use attachments not recommended by themanufacturerastheymaycausehazards.

Do not place this projector on an unstable cart, stand,or table.The projector may fall, causing serious injuryto a child or adult, and serious damage to the projector.Use only with a cart or stand recommended by themanufacturer, or sold with the projector.Wall or shelfmounting should follow the manufacturer’s instructions,and should use a mount ing k i t approved by themanufacturers.

An appliance and cart combinationshould be moved with care. Quickstops, excessive force, and unevensurfaces may cause the applianceandcartcombinationtooverturn.

Slotsandopeningsinthebackandbottomofthecabinetareprovidedforventilation,toensurereliableoperationoftheequipmentandtoprotectitfromoverheating.

objects.–Do not touch a peripheral part of the exhaust vent,

especiallyscrewsandmetallicparts.Theseareaswillbecomehotwhiletheprojectorisbeingused.

–Donotputanythingonthecabinet.Objectsputonthecabinetwillnotonlygetdamagedbutalsomaycausefirehazardbyheat.

Cooling fans are provided to cool down the projector.The fans’ running speed is changed according to thetemperatureinsidetheprojector.

CAUTION IN CARRyING OR TRANSPORTING THE PROjECTOR

–Donotdroporbumptheprojector,otherwisedamagesormalfunctionsmayresult.

–Whencarryingtheprojector,useasuitablecarryingcase.–Donot transport theprojectorbycourieroranyother

The carrying case (supplied) is intended for protectionagainstdustandscratchesonsurfaceofthecabinet,andit is not designed to protect an appliance from externalforces. Connecting the AC Power CordThisprojectorusesnominal input voltagesof100-120Vor200-240VACand itautomaticallyselects thecorrect inputvoltage. It is designed to work with single-phase powersystems having a grounded neutral conductor.To reducetheriskofelectricalshock,donotplugintoanyothertypeofpowersystem.If you are not sure of the type of power being supplied,consultyourauthorizeddealerorservicestation.Connect the projector with all peripheral equipment beforeturningtheprojectoron.

what is PIN code?PIN (Personal Identification Number) code is a securitycode that allows the person who knows it to operate theprojector.SettingaPINcodepreventsunauthorizeduseoftheprojector.

APINcodeconsistsofafour-digitnumber.RefertothePINcode lock function in theSettingMenuonpages55-56 forlockingoperationoftheprojectorwithyourPINcode.

Enter a PIN codeUse the Point ▲▼ buttons to enter a number. Press thePoint ► button to fix the number and move the red framepointer to the next box.The number changes to. If youfixedan incorrectnumber,use thePoint◄button tomovethe pointer to the number you want to correct, and thenenterthecorrectnumber.

CaptureCaptureThis function enables you to capture an image beingprojected to use it for a starting-up display or interval ofpresentations.

SelectCaptureandpresstheSELECTbutton.Aconfirmationboxappearsandselectyestocapturetheprojectedimage.

After capturing the projected image, go to the Logo selectfunctionandsetittoUser.Thenthecapturedimagewillbedisplayedthenexttimeyouturnontheprojector.

Cleaning the Projector Cabinet

Cleaning the Projection LensUnplugtheACpowercordbeforecleaning.

Gentlywipetheprojectionlenswithacleaningcloththatcontainsasmallamountofnon-abrasivecameralenscleaner,orusealenscleaningpaperorcommerciallyavailableairblowertocleanthelens.

Avoidusinganexcessiveamountofcleaner.Abrasivecleaners,solvents,orotherharshchemicalsmightscratchthesurfaceofthelens.

UnplugtheACpowercordbeforecleaning.

Gentlywipetheprojectorbodywithasoftdrycleaningcloth.When thecabinet isheavily soiled,usea small amountofmilddetergentandfinishwithasoftdrycleaningcloth.Avoidusingan excessiveamount of cleaner.Abrasive cleaners,solvents,orotherharshchemicalsmightscratchthesurfaceofthecabinet.

When the projector is not in use, put the projector inan appropriate carrying case to protect it from dust andscratches.
