Myself Sheela from Dindugal. i am a divorsee.

Divorse was approved before 2 years. My fam-

ily belives that Ex-husband was wrong because

he use to torcher me in many ways. Any how I

wanted divorse from him and I was sure that he is

not a good humanbeing. But recently in Jan2013

I met my Ex-husband in one of my family function

and by solving misunderstanding ,we decided to get marriedonce again.

When I met him in Jan2013 I came to know that he is

stucked in missing case of X person. And then in end of

Jan2013 I came to know that Ex-husband involved in Kidnap

and Murder case of X person.

As already I made my mind to marry him once again I

was not knowing how to react. But being a human I was in

contact of Ex-husband till June2013. Now I realised that my

1st divorce decision was correct and because of my family I

disconnected all my contacts with Ex-husband.

Still he is calling me on my mobile and ofce landline. I warnhim many times but he is not listening. As I know Ex-husband

very well he can harm me. I am scared what if hell kill me?

The Indian society is based on Manu Sastra.Sastra means law. This Manu Sastra has created

the Varnasra Sharma. This Dharma had dividedthe Indian/ Hindu community into four parts/ Brah-

min, Vaisha, Vannia and Sudhra. This division

may have proved well in old days but with educa-

tion spreading democratic system of Government

coming up the logic behind this system has lost

the spirit and value. But there were resistance

from Orthodox communities to the social changes

and therefore clashes of opinion started. A time

came when even orthodox section of the people

began to realize that this division only divides the

Hindu Indian community and that this system

should go. It was this section of the Brahmin com-

munity who took steps to evivate the status of theHarijans and other communities. But these sec-

tions of the people only demanded that all people

are treated alike.

But one Brahmin leader thought that the

propaganda is not enough to upgrade the down-

drodden and depressed community and with the

democratic system getting established and with

the Legislative system taking route of the govern-

ance of the state, a law is necessary to establish

the rights of these depressed classes of people.

Leaders of the depresses classes of people, De-

wan Bahadur M.C.Rajah were trying to get a

law for the depressed classes of people to theright of civil rights. M.C.Rajah found in his trail

a talented and bread minded Brahmin leader in

R.V.Krishna Ayyar, Krishnan Ayyar was one of the

best drafts men of bills. Krishnan Ayyar coined a

new word, removal bill in 1930 and gave the bill to

M.C.Rajah to move the bill in the Madras Legisla-

tive Assembly. R.V.Krishan Ayyar was a excep-

tionally brilliant student and stood rst in every

examination and took the rst rank. He collect-

ed more than 21gold medals during his student

days. He was a very successful lawyer practicing

at Salem along with C.Rajagopalachari. He was

appointed District Munsiff in 1910. He served at anumber of places like Erode, Eluru now in Andhra

state, Chengalput, Kulithalai and Nagapattinam.

From Nagapattinam he was taken to the Law

Department and made an ofcer to draft rules for

the enforcement and implementation of the 1919

Government of India Act. He was then made the

Secretary of the Legislative Council and became

a legendary gure in Indian Parliamentary his-

tory and is considered as Eraskin May of India.

M.C.Rajah approached R.V.Krishna Ayyar to draft

bill. And R.V.Krishna Ayyar drafted the Madras

Civil Disabilities Removal Bill. M.C.Rajah intro-

duced the bill on the 30th march 1938 in the com-

posite Madras. While moving the bill in the as-

sembly, Rajah said,

I must take this opportunity of thanking DiwanBahadur R.V.Krishna Ayyar for drafting the this

bill for me.

When C.Rajagopalachaiar inrevened to say

that the memory of Rajah is wrong and I do not

think anybody else drafted this bill.

But M.C.Rajah was very vehement and said

in the Assembly I am the person who gave this bill

to R.V.Krishna Ayyar- the bill which is now before

the House.

When M.C.Rajah said that it was not Ra-

jagopalachari but it was R.V.Krishna Ayyar who

drafted the bill, Rajagopalachari told the speaker

(Bulusu Sambamoorthy) that it is nice to refer tothose drafters of the bill but I sumit that it should

not go inti the proceedings of the bill.

But M.C.Rajah insisted that these should go into

the proceedings of the House. Rajah further said

We are greatfull community. Krishna Ayyar

has drafted the bill and it is but right that I express

my appreciation of his services here and thank

him for the same.

In fact M.C.Rajah quoted a letter written

to C.Rajagoplachariar, The letter written by

C.Rajagopalachariar

My dear Rajah

I have your letter dated 2nd april enclosing a

copy of the draft bill. I have gone though it very

carefully. I am sending herewith a revised draft

which you will kindly go through and note the

changes made. I think that the draft as I have new

sent, will cover all that you want without leaving

and lopholes wish you success, You are always

command me in this matter.

But M.C.Rajah found the draft made by Ra-

jagopalachari not satisfactory. He then requested

R.V.Krishna Ayyar to draft a bill for him. This is

Madras Vivill Disablilties Removal bill. This Bill

drafted by R.V.Krishna Ayyar was the rst lawtowards the end of untouchability in this country.

Only after the bill was passed, temples were for

all communities, Hotels stopped discriminating

and all public laces were thrown open to all. This

bill was improved upon after the freedom and

the Civil rights Act, Specialacts for the protec-

tion of scheduled caste and tribes were adopted.

R.V.Krishna Ayyar was the forerunner of the so-

cial revoutin.

R.V.Krishna Ayyar was a great Leader of the

Brahmin community who took the initiative to

raise the level of living of the Harijan Community.

He is now a forgotten here of the Harijan casesbut posterity has recorded his services in the pro-

ceedings of Legislative bodies.
