Lauren & Louise Internet Radio Review Due to this particular radio show having the narrative of 90’s dance music; it is therefore aimed at a target audience aged 30+. I feel that our radio show was suitable for the intended target audience due to all the songs played being dance music from the 90’s era for example “Haddaway – What is Love” which will be enjoyed by people 30+ who was around in the 90’s and enjoyed dance music. The technical quality was good due to the use of the sound board which allowed us to fade between music, jingles and general chats. Although throughout the radio show there was a small amount of dead air, due to us not being overly confident using the sound board, therefore for our next radio show it is important that we get more confident using the equipment available. In terms of speech, I feel that I in particular was not completely confident speaking due to this being our first radio show, which resulted in a problem roughly 12 minutes into the show where I forgot the words therefore causing dead air, however towards the end of the show I felt a lot more confident. Therefore it is important that I gain more confidence speaking before we record our next radio show! In my opinion the speech throughout was both upbeat and enthusiastic, whilst also having banter between me and Lauren therefore creating a feel good mood for the intended target audience. Lauren & Louise InternetRadio Review

Due to this particular radio show having the narrative of 90’s dance music; it is therefore aimed at a target audience aged 30+.

Therefore it is important that I gain more confidence speaking before we record our next radio show!In my opinion the speech throughout was both upbeat and enthusiastic, whilst also having banter between me and Lauren therefore creating a feel good mood for the intended target audience. We also used conversational informal language throughout, therefore relating to the specific target audience.

Throughout the hour we had a number of general chats about topics such as recent TV shows, therefore engaging with the target audience who are more than likely to watch and have opinions on TV shows. We also included references to going out partying, socializing due to this particular show taking place at 8pm on a Friday night, when the intended target audience would be getting ready to go on a night out! However because this radio show had a narrative of 90’s dance music, I feel that we could have done more to emphasize this by discussing things from that era such as fashion.

I think that it is important for next time to gain more confidence both speaking and using the equipment, therefore increasing the technical quality of the next radio show by reducing dead air. It is also important that we discuss more about the narrative of the particular radio show by researching more into it, therefore relating more to the intended target audience.
