December Resident of the Month, Diane

McGlinchey. Diane was born and raised in

Philadelphia.

She attended Kensington High School and

had taken her GED Test at Temple. She later

married and devoted her life to raising her

two sons. Diane later moved to Laurel Square

where she excels in her love of the arts and

church. Diane’s artwork has been featured at

her local Citizens Bank.

We are pleased to introduce our new Administrator of Laurel Square, Stephen Quindlen. Stephen joined the Nationwide Family on October 22. He has been working in the long-term healthcare field for 12 years. Stephen is excited to begin a new chapter in his life at Laurel Square and would like to share his background.

Stephen is originally from Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from Arch Bishop Ryan High School, and then graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He always had a desire to help others and decided to focus his career in long-term healthcare. He later befriended a co-worker, Danielle, who shared his same ideas and his yearning to help others. After dating for some time, Stephen and Danielle married and, 5 years ago, had a son, Luke.

Stephen has an open-door policy and is always there to answer questions and be a prominent figure of support for all. Stephen is filled with great ideas and plans that will aide in the quality of care for our residents. For example, we are in the process of implementing a Family Council, which will meet on a monthly basis for family members to be informed about new ongoings within the facility, express any concerns that they may be facing, and more.
