A growing market for appliances means a growing need to reduce the impact each product has on the environment. This starts with cutting harmful materials out of production, and by making our products as energy-efficient as possible.

But it doesn’t end there. It’s also about providing you with the solutions you need to make your day-to-day life more sustainable.

We train customers and chefs to operate more efficiently and reduce environmental impact at our Centers of Excellence. 90% of the environmental footprint of our products happens during usage.

The oven with the highest efficiency and lowest noxious emissionsSave up to 20% on your gas bill. Electrolux gas burners are designed to be extremely efficient, slashing gas consumption by up to 20%.

For an annual gas consumption of €1500 over an 8-year period, this equates to savings of €2400 if you choose the Electrolux air-o-steam oven over a traditional blown burner combi-oven.

And the air-o-steam is better for the environment too, with 20% lower noxious emissions than a conventional burner. The reduced consumption also reduces the environmental impact.

Thanks to the automatic cleaning process, you can concretely optimize the consumption of rinse aid, electricity and water; reduce up to 50% of the running costs; and save energy, preserving the environment inside and outside the kitchen.

The Lambda sensor reduces water consumption up to 98% and energy consumption up to 49%.

Save using original Accessories, i.e. the non-stick u-pan reduces the cooking time by up to 25%.

Technological innovation for maximum savings

A strong passion for innovation, ergonomics, design and a genuine belief in sustainability went into the development of our thermaline, XP900 and XP700 cooking ranges.

Save electricity compared to conventional cooking with the Induction solution. Heat dissipation is reduced to a minimum, requiring less ventilation and providing sustainable working conditions. Power control is precise and without inertia, and no pre-heating is necessary. The induction zones recognize the presence of a pan on the surface and switch the power on (or off) accordingly.

A built-in stand-by function to reduce the power when no pans or food are on the surface.

Consume up to 35% less energy thanks to the Ecotop hobs, equipped with 8 sensors for optimal temperature control and monitoring.

Flower Flame burners guarantee optimized combustion and achieve up to 65% efficiency. Save energy and use heat efficiently with Ecoflam pan recognition sensors.

Safety comes first in our food preparation range

Electrolux cares for the operator’s safety preventing chemical migration of potentially harmful food-contact metal or plastic substances into food or drink. That’s why in 2014, Electrolux Professional implemented a ban on the use of Bisphenol A (BPA) in all plastic components of its Food Preparation products that come into direct contact with food.

Your health will be protected by the new blind/solid splash guard in the planetary mixers as it limits the flour dust emissions, in case of bakery/pastry preparations. While the bowl detection device blocks the machine and does not permit it to start unless the bowl is properly positioned and set with the splash guard.

Save up to 75% on detergent, 30% water and 30% energy

Save 75% on detergent and 30% water with the Electrolux IWS system, which separates the pre-wash, wash and rinse modules, and 30% energy by pre-heating water with the heat pump which guarantees less energy and heat dispersion, and Energy Saving Device which is able to pre-heat incoming cold water, saving up to 12kW in energy as well as condensing the steam in the kitchen.

Autostart ensures no water and energy consumption during periods when dishwasher is on stand-by. The boiler is insulated to avoid further heat loss.

Operator safety is given by the cool door surfaces (less than 60°C) thanks to the foam injection insulation, the counter balanced door easy to open with minimum operator effort and equipped with a safety device to block it during cleaning. Door handles are designed to be accessed from any position.

The unique eco-friendly alternative to traditional dry cleaningA game changer for businesses and for the environment, lagoon® Advanced Care is a sustainable, eco-friendly water-based cleaning system with none of the disadvantages of PERC, which can be dangerous to staff.

As water is the solvent, no toxic substances are used in the process, making it environmentally friendly – while the shorter process time ensures a faster and more efficient service.

The lagoon® Advanced Care is the first water-based system that guarantees a process time of just one hour from receipt of a garment to delivery.

Its smart, environmentally-friendly chemicals and processes mean garments are fully dried in the dryer, so there is no need to hang dry. There is none of the residual moisture usually associated with wet cleaning – garments are dry to the touch and have no wrinkles, so finishing is quick and easy.

Lower energy costs with less water to heat. With each wash cycle, the Automatic Saving System determines the weight of load and adds the exact amount of water.

The software, built into the wash cycle, reduces water consumption and energy costs up to 50%.With the Integrated Saving System, energy and water savings are guaranteed thanks to an optimal use of water. The load weight displayed on the panel helps ensure correct dosing of water, saving energy.

The ergonomic Efficient Dosing System guarantees up to 20% savings in running costs. It automatically calculates the precise amount of detergent needed according to the linen weight and the selected wash program. It is user friendly since it minimize the handling of detergent and cleaning of the laundry room.

Our Barrier Washers are incredibly fast, safe, and ergonomic to operate, thanks to Automatic Inner Drum Positioning – which ensures the inner drum is always in the correct place for loading and unloading.

Save lots of time and money with our high-tech tumble dryer solutionsThe Residual Moisture Control helps to reduce the drying cycle, resulting in time, energy and money savings, as the moisture remaining in the textiles is continuously measured.

Unique from Electrolux the Drum Speed Control shortens drying times and reduces energy consumption by controlling the mechanical action when drying delicate garments.

Autostop shortens the drying cycle and ensures an optimum care result. Its intelligent sensors detect when the linen is fully dry and stop the dryer heating, saving time, energy and money.

Heat Efficiency Control delivers best-in-class efficiency and speed, as the multi-stage electric heating makes it possible to adjust the heating during the drying process.

Eco Power for coin machines brings you energy savings of up to 15%. It calculates when garments are dry and automatically lowers the dryer heat to the cool-down temperature.

Safe, secure and environmentally friendly ironing

Patented by Electrolux, the Dubixium™ multilayer cylinder ensures up to 50% more throughput. As convenient as steam but without the drawbacks of steam, it guarantees you maximum profitability. Thermal oil is used to evenly distribute the heat, so there is no heat waste due to overheating of the sides.

The Integrated Thermal Oil Boiler promises 30% energy savings and is 10% more efficient than a regular steam-heated ironer. It also has the most efficient dewatering on the market.

Our unique, patented Ceramic Gas Burner offers up to 20% gas savings, increasing productivity whilst minimizing disruption and gas consumption. Ceramic plates generate infra-red energy in addition to regular convection heat from a flame, so the burner is eco-friendly and safe for operators due to its complete combustion and minimized toxic gas emissions.

Save time, energy and reduces staff needed with Automatic Feeding, which lets you finish the largest items with only a single operator.
