LateRooms.com provides accommodation services for more than two million customers in 53,000 properties worldwide, ranging from hotels to B&Bs to castles and more. The company operates from a global network of offices spanning Europe, Asia, and Australasia and has head offices in both Manchester and Singapore.

ChallengesLateRooms.com operates a global, round-the-clock, web-based hotel booking service

that processes millions of enquiries and payment transactions each year. The business’

success is totally dependent on the availability and performance of its online booking

system. Any system downtime or slow response times to page requests can have a

negative impact on revenue and brand reputation.

SolutionBy monitoring and evaluating all traffic crossing the LateRooms.

com’s network, the team was able to use DDoS Secure to

accurately manage its entire ecosystem of IT resources,

dynamically responding and blocking suspect traffic to prevent

any one part from being overloaded. In addition to ensuring

availability of the LateRooms.com website, the integrated

Resource Optimization Console has provided detailed

performance data, enabling the system to be fine-tuned for

optimum performance.
