Private RYA dinghy sailingLearn to sail at your own pace, with one-to-one tuition from our RYA sailing instructors. Courses are available from beginner level, for both children and adults, following the progressive RYA sailing syllabus. Run through Level 1 Start Sailing up to Level 3 Better Sailing. Learn the basics of rigging, tacking, gybing, capsize recovery and become confident at the helm and know how to react to different wind conditions. In addition, you will run through various theory sessions on land. Logbooks are completed for each module, with RYA certificates issued for each level passed. For more advanced sailors, we offer private tuition to enhance your sailing ability. Courses include Sail-ing with Spinnakers and Performance Sailing.

Private RYA powerboat licenseLearn to drive a powerboat with the professionals. Start as a beginner or enhance current driving skills with this comprehensive syllabus. Tuition is given on a one-to-one basis. The RYA Level 2 course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat safely and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. Tuition focusses on low speed close quarters handling (manoeuvring in a marina), man overboard recovery, driving at planing speed and international collision regulations. We can also issue a UK International Certificate of Compe-tence (ICC) to those who qualify.
