About Us

Sainik School Kunjpura is one of the first five schools established by the Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi in 1961. At present there are 26 such schools covering all the states of the country. This school was founded by (late) Shri V.K. Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister of India, on 25th July, 1961. The school is situated off the G.T. Road, 8 Kms away from Karnal Town.

Aim

Strength

The primary aim of the school is to prepare boys academically, mentally and physically for entry into the Na�onal Defence Academy. It enables boys from economically weaker sec�ons of the society to take up an illustrious career as officer in the Armed Forces of the na�on. Character building, dedica�on, patrio�c outlook and esprit-de-corps are the quali�tes which are promoted by the Sainik Schools.

At present the school has 619 cadets studying in Classes VI to XII.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Educa�on, New Delhi. The school prepares boys for compulsory science stream for All India Secondary School and All India Senior Secondary School Cer�ficate Examina�ons. Leadership quali�es are developed by making NCC training compulsory for all the boys of the school. It helps the boys to grow as well-disciplined young men. Sainik School Kunjpura basically caters for the boys of the State of Haryana and Union Territory of Delhi but certain seats are available for outsiders also. There is a very liberal scheme of scholarship which is provided by the concerned State Govt./Union Territory Administra�on on the basis of income slabs of boy's parents. The school is a member of the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC). To develop an all round balanced personality, along with academic excellence, sports and other co-curricular ac�vi�es are also given equal emphasis.

(a) The boys of the school have maintained an excellent record of performance in the field of sports at Inter Public Schools, State and Na�onal level meets. Our boys have also brought laurels to the Ins�tu�on in Swimming, Football, Hockey and Athle�cs. School Captain, Sant Kumar represented India in the 1980 Olympics held at Moscow.

(b) In 2014 two Kunjeans, Sandeep Kumar and Swatantar Raj Singh were awarded Arjuna Award and Dronacharya Award respec�vely. Sh. BN Jha, Mathema�cs teacher of the school was also honoured with Na�onal Teachers Award. Maj Gen Nain, an old Kunjean was decorated with AVSM on 15-08-2017.

(c) The school is proud of having sent 750 boys to the NDA over the last five decades. Besides this, an equal number of boys have also joined as officers in Armed Forces through direct recruitment. The school is also privileged to have many IAS officers, IPS officers, Doctors, Engineers, Judges, Lawyers and Managers as its alumni.

(d) The results of All India Secondary School Examina�on and All India Senior School Cer�ficate Examina�on have always been good. The school is sincerely working hard to further improve its academic performance substan�ally. The school is the proud recipient of Raksha Mantri Trophy eight �mes for sending maximum boys to NDA in an academic year. Cadet Sangram Singh secured third posi�on in All India Ranking of (SSB) UPSC merit doing proud to his alma mater.

Curriculum

Achievements

The Administra�on of the school is vested in the Board of Governors,

an autonomous body, under the Chairmanship of the Defence

Minister. The Chief Minister/Educa�on Minister of the States in which

Sainik Schools are located are members of the Board of Governors.

The day to day func�oning of the school is looked a�er by the Local

Board of Administra�on (LBA) under the Chairmanship of the Chief of

staff, HQ 2 Corps of the Army.

The Principal is an ac�ve service officer of the rank of Colonel (or its

equivalent rank of Indian Air Force or Indian Navy). He is assisted by a

Vice Principal and an Administra�ve Officer who are of the rank of Lt.

Col. / Major (or its equivalent rank in Air Force or Navy). The teaching

staff consists of highly qualified persons who have the ap�tude for

Public School Educa�on. Besides teachers, there are Hostel Supdts/

Ward Boys who look a�er the boys in the dormitories. The school has a

part-�me Medical Officer and one full �me Medical Staff. The school

has trained NCC & APTC instructors who are drawn from ac�ve service

of the Army. The school has an Art Master, Cra� Instructor and a well

trained Librarian.

The school has fully qualified Office Superintendent, Accountant,

Quartermaster and Mess Manager who provide Administra�ve,

Logis�cs and Catering Support to the school.

SAINIK SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTRY

Admission to Sainik School is confined only to boys (not for girls) of Indian na�onality in Classes VI and IX only.

Boys must be born between 2nd July 2007 and 1st July 2008 (both days inclusive) for Class VI age should be

between 10 and 11 years. The boys should be born between 2nd July 2004 and 1st July 2005 (both days inclusive)

for Class IX, age should be between 13 and 14 years. Each boy is allowed only one chance for admission in Sainik

School. Applica�on on the prescribed form, a�ached along with the prospectus or downloaded from internet -

www.sskunjpura.org will only be entertained. Admit Card Form a�ached thereto must be completed in all

respects by the candidate. One copy of the recent passport size photograph is to be pasted in the space provided

for in the Applica�on Form and other photos on the Admit Cards. For admission to Class IX, the boys should be

studying in class VIII in a recognised school.Note : The admission to the Sainik Schools is done on the merit order which is prepared on the basis of

candidate's wri�en examina�on, interview marks and medical fitness.The parents willing for admi�ng their son/wards in other Sainik Schools in case they are qualified but low in

merit in the school of their domicile are to give an undertaking, that they are willing to admit their sons/wards as

Note : The Medium & Language of Class VI Examina�on can be opted for either in Hindi or in English, whereas

ques�on paper language for class IX will be in English only. The standard of examina�on for class VI would be

equivalent to the standard of Class V, and for Class IX would be equivalent to standard of Class VIII of CBSE.

Approximately 80 boys will be admi�ed to class VI and 25 boys to Class IX in April 2018. Actual number of seats

can vary (increase/decrease) depending on the number of pass outs/ withdrawals.

An informa�on booklet containing sample OMR sheets will be enclosed with prospectus. 15% and 7½ seats are

reserved for admission of boys belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes respec�vely and 25% of

remaining seats are reserved for the boys of service personnel including ex-servicemen. Balance seats will be

allo�ed as per Sainik School Society, Rules & Regula�ons.

Admission of the boys in Sainik School is done on the basis of All India Entrance Examina�on and is given wide

publicity through various means of adver�sement. The wri�en examina�on is conducted at the Centres as

selected by the Principal in their respec�ve states. The centres for examina�on for seeking admission in Sainik

School Kunjpura are as under :-

Note : Every effort will be made to allot the centre of the candidate's choice but his examina�on centre is subject

to change due to administra�ve reasons. A candidate will not be allowed to take examina�on at a centre other

than the one allo�ed to him.

The Principal of the school may cancel an examina�on centre if the number of candidates is inadequate or less at

that centre.

Only those boys who obtain qualifying marks and have fared high in the merit list in the wri�en test will be called

for interview and medical examina�on at a later date.

Prospectus cum Applica�on Forms for admission at Sainik School Kunjpura may be obtained from the Principal,

Sainik School Kunjpura, Karnal (Haryana) - 132023 w.e.f. 16 Oct 2017 to 30 Nov.2017 on all working days between

1000-1300 hrs by payment cash Rs. 400/- for General and Defence categories and Rs. 250/- for SC and ST

categories. The prospectus may also be obtained by post by sending an applica�on on plain paper by men�oning

address and category along with a DD of Rs. 450/- for General and Defence categories and Rs.300/- for SC and ST

categories, drawn in favour of Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura to be sent along with the applica�on payable at

Karnal. Duly completed applica�on to reach Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura, Karnal (Haryana)-132023

posi�vely by 1300 hrs. on 05 Dec. 2017 and school will not be responsible for rejec�on of the applica�on on

account of postal delay, if any. Applica�ons submi�ed on forms other than the prescribed forms a�ached to this

prospectus will not be entertained. Applica�on Forms/Prospectus would be issued to individuals and it is non-

transferable. Forms would not be given to ins�tu�ons/Coaching Centres. No person is allowed to purchase more

than two prospectus at a �me.

Announcement of results All successful candidates will be informed of the Entrance Examina�on Result by post. Moreover, it will also be published in leading newspapers and will also be made available on our website (www.sskunjpura.org)

Interview and medical examinationOnly those who qualify and fare high in the merit list in the Entrance Examina�on will be called for interview and medical examina�on. The interview will be conducted at Sainik School Kunjpura. The interview will consist of 50 marks. The medical examina�on will be conducted at Military Hospital, Ambala or at the school. Those boys who are found medically fit and have high order in the merit list are issued joining instruc�ons on the basis of number of seats to be filled. Merely qualifying the interview/medical examina�on does not confer any right to admission in Sainik Schools. Wri�en exam and interview marks can be obtained from the school on payment of Rs. 100/-. Copy of the answer sheet will not be provided.

Joining instructionsBoys selected for admission are issued with joining instruc�ons. Once admission is accepted, the boy is given a school number, which remains with him through out his stay in the school. All correspondence and documents pertaining to the boy should bear his school number. All ar�cles brought from home by the boy should be marked with this school number, in good non erasable ink or paint.

School fees/ chargesThe exis�ng fees/charges are as under :-(However, the school Fee structure is under revision.)(a) Tui�on Fees ̀ 72,600/- and Dietary Charges ̀ 30,400/- per annum(b) Clothing Charges & misc. items ̀ 9,000/- per annum(c) Security deposit of ` 3,000/- for general and defence category (` 1,500/- in case of SC/ST). This money is

collected from each boy at the �me of admission. The money, a�er deduc�on of outstanding dues, if any, is refundable at the �me when the boy leaves the school. However, if the boy is withdrawn on parents' request without giving two months advance no�ce, the security money will be forfeited.

(d) Incidental charges ̀ 1,500 per boy(e) The actual cost of messing and clothing items will be borne by the individual parents / cadet, amount

charged at para (a) and (b) above will be adjusted.

Payment All the school dues are to be paid in advance by Demand Dra� in favour of the Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura,

Payable at Karnal or deposited directly to the Bank under challan form and one of the counter foils will be

submi�ed to the School Accounts Sec�on.Boys from whom fees/dues have not been received are liable to be sent back home at the risk and expenses of

their parents.

ScholarshipsA number of scholarships are awarded by the State Government tenable in the school located in their respec�ve

states. Parents/Guardians of the recipients of Government scholarship are required to execute a bond to the effect

that if their son/ward does not take the compe��ve examina�on of the Union Public Service Commission for

admission to the Na�onal Defence Academy or having taken the examina�on does not join the Academy (if

selected) they would have to refund to the Government concerned, the value of scholarships availed of by their

son/ward during his stay in the school. This will also be the posi�on if he leaves the school at any intermediate

stage without taking the examina�on of the Union Public Service Commission. The agreement to the effect is to be

signed by parents. Parents/Guardians of boys in receipt of scholarship from Governments are required to execute

separate bonds prescribed by the State Governments. Before a Scholarship is sanc�oned, parents/guardians are

required to produce the documents which will be in�mated by the school.The responsibility to pay school dues on account of stoppage, non-grant or cut in scholarship by the scholarship

gran�ng authority for any reason will rest with the parents.Scholarship will only be granted on the understanding that the boy will be on constant proba�on for the period he

is in the school. If at any �me the Principal feels that a boy is not jus�fying the scholarship granted by the

State/Central Government, he can withdraw the scholarship. For ge�ng scholarship, the parents are to submit an

affidavit and applica�on which will be provided by the school.The scholarship gran�ng authority may revise or s�pulate condi�ons for grant of scholarship. For con�nuance of

scholarship, it is necessary that the scholars maintain sa�sfactory progress in their studies and are not reported

adversely regarding discipline and that a scholarship holder under one scheme does not draw a

scholarship/financial assistance of and kind from any other source.

Personal clothingA list of personal clothings which is to be provided by the parents/ guardians at the �me of admission of a boy will

be provided by the school before admission. No expenses on this account may be incurred �ll a boy is found

medically fit and is finally called for admission.

School terms and vacationThe academic session is from April to March. There are two terms from April to September and October to

March.

The summer vaca�on is generally of 7 weeks dura�on from end of May to mid July. There are two short breaks :

one on the occasion of Diwali (Oct-Nov) & second in winter (Dec-Jan).

CurriculumThe school prepares boys for the following examina�ons :-

(a) Union Public Service Commission Examina�on for entry to the Na�onal Defence Academy.

(b) All India Secondary School Examina�on and Senior School Cer�ficate Examina�on conducted by the

Central Board of Secondary Educa�on, New Delhi.

The medium of instruc�on is English with Hindi as a compulsory subject �ll class X. The other major subjects

taught are English, Mathema�cs, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science at plus 2 stage.

Private tui�on is not permi�ed. However, the school makes special arrangements for extra classes for slow

learners. The Parents/ Guardians are advised to make such arrangements during the vaca�on.

Progress reports to parentsParents are kept informed about the progress of their wards from �me to �me. They are also advised to be in

touch with the school to purposefully watch the progress of their wards. The schedule of PTMs is printed in the

school calendar.

Apart from the academic aspect, boys are subject to the obliga�ons inherent in community living. They are

required to conform to the code of honour and conduct on which good ci�zenship is founded. Good manners and

discipline form an integral part of the training at SSK.

Extra curricular activitiesThese ac�vi�es play a very important part in the training given at the school. The scheme provides ample scope

for development of the student's crea�ve facul�es and skills. The boys learn by doing and par�cipa�ng in these

ac�vi�es according to their ap�tudes. All the boys are expected to take part in any of these ac�vi�es. These may

Computer EducationComputer Literacy Programme is part of School curriculum and Computer Science is a subject at +2 level.

Physical EducationThe school provides facili�es for games and sports like Boxing, Swimming, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Basketball,

Tennis, Table Tennis, Cricket, Athle�cs, Squash and Badminton. In addi�on to regular games, P.T. is compulsory.

The school has extensive playgrounds to enable all the boys to play games every day simultaneously during the

games period and exercise in the Wellness Centre and Fitness Centre of the School. GTO and obstacle courses are

also available on the campus. Boys are regularly sent for trekking, ar�ficial wall climbing, mountaineering

expedi�ons etc. Horse Riding has been introduced for boys from the academic session 2011-12.

N.C.C.Every student irrespec�ve of age, is a member of N.C.C. The N.C.C. syllabus includes training pertaining to all the three services. All boys of classes IX and XI are required to a�end Annual Training Camps at selected places during vaca�on. Selected boys are sent on Rock climbing and Advance Leadership courses. NCC has been introduced as a subject in classes IX and X wef. March 2017.

Medical AttentionThe school has a part-�me Medical Officer for the �me being, who is assisted by medical staff. Serious illness is no�fied to the parents immediately. A terminal medical examina�on is carried out and record of health, weight and height is kept by the medical officer/staff.

CateringThe school has an impressive Mess managed by an experienced and qualified Mess Manager. All the boys sit at one �me and have their meals under the immediate supervision of their teachers. The food served is decided upon by a messing commi�ee, consis�ng of boys and members of staff. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are provided and emphasis is laid on well-balanced diet.

Daily RoutineThe boys have a full day consis�ng of P.T./Drill in the morning followed by academic classes study periods, games, hobbies and private study. Holidays are u�lised for extra and co-curricular ac�vi�es. Informa�on regarding daily rou�ne is given on last page.

DressEach student at the beginning of the school term is required to bring with him certain ar�cles of clothing (Please see Appx 'G'). Certain clothing items are provided to the boys for the sake of uniformity (see Appx 'F'). The cost of such items is to be borne by the parents.

The daily summer working dress consists of Khaki shirts with shoulder flashes showing house colour Khaki/Trousers & Grey Trousers / White shirt (full sleeve). In winter, a woollen army pa�ern long-sleeved jersey pullover is worn over the shirt.

WithdrawalsNo�ce of withdrawals must be given two months before the commencement of the following term. Failure in giving such a no�ce will entail the forfeiture of cau�on money (Security Money).

The Principal can, in the interest of the school, have a boy removed from the school for the following reasons :-

(a) Where, in his opinion, the boy has failed to accept the discipline of the school and his con�nued presence is detrimental to the interest of others.

(b) Where the boy fails to come up to the required academic standard.

(c) The Principal may send the boy home or rus�cate him from the school at the parent's risk and responsibility at any stage if it is proved that scholarship and admission have been obtained on produc�on of false documents.

PrizesIndividual prizes are given to boys to inculcate in them a healthy spirit of compe��on for dis�nc�on in academics and games and sports such as Boxing, Swimming and Athle�cs etc. For other games, trophies are awarded to the houses.

The school magazineThe school brings out its magazine 'The Grey Kunj' once a year and a news bulle�n "Kunjean Times" periodically.

LibraryThe school is maintaining a well furnished/stocked Library cum Reading Room and a number of magazines, periodicals and newspapers are provided for educa�on. Newspapers are also provided housewise to the students to keep them abreast of the Global happenings.

CinemaThe school has its own 70mm LCD projector. Selected entertaining

films are screened on Saturdays. Documentaries of educa�onal value

are quite o�en shown for the benefit of staff and students. The DVD

in the school further adequately fills the gaps in entertainment and

audio visual educa�on.

Canteen / PCO(a) There is a CSD canteen for use of the en�tled staff and students.

(b) PCO facility is also available within the campus.

Educational AidsThe school has Internet, Computers, OHPs and Epidiascope DVD

player which are used for instruc�onal purposes. Smart classrooms

make use of the latest technology to enhance the teaching skills of

the teachers.

famous ba�les fought on the plains of Punjab/Haryana. There are

also two Holding Houses, Chhamb and Shakargarh. Each house in

turn has its junior and senior sec�ons. At least one NCC part �me

officer is a�ached to each House.

A healthy spirit of compe��on is encouraged amongst the Houses.

Trophies and individual prizes are awarded on merit.

Student AppointmentsTo promote quali�es of leadership, self reliance and co-opera�on

amongst the boys, a system of student appointment has been

introduced. The School Captain is the senior most appointment. He is

responsible to the Principal for the overall discipline for all the boys in

the school. He is assisted by a School Vice Captain. Every House has a

House Captain who is responsible for the discipline of the boys of that

par�cular House. House Captains are assisted by two House Prefects.

All appointments are dis�nguished by dis�nc�ve badges of rank.

They look a�er the boys during academic hours.

IndemnityThe school authori�es will not be liable for any damage on

account of injuries total or otherwise, which may be sustained by

a boy at any �me during his stay in the school, while taking part in

P.T. sports, athle�cs, NCC and other extra curricular ac�vi�es

inside or outside the school or while the boys par�cipate in

educa�onal tours, treks or any other kind of ou�ngs organised

through any means of travel.

Visiting HoursThe parents must visit the school between 0900 to 1700 hours on

the Second Saturday of each month for the purpose of PTMs.

Leave will not be normally granted to boys during the term except

in excep�onal cases.

Interview with the PrincipalParents wishing to meet the Principal are advised to make prior

appointment either by le�er or on telephone (No. 0184-

2384551, Karnal).

Care of PropertyAll belongings of the boys must be clearly marked. Boys are

responsible for the care of their own property. Whilst normal

precau�ons are taken, the school accepts no responsibility for

their property being lost or damaged on the premises. Any

damage caused to the school property by the boys or loss of

clothing, books or other ar�cles will be charged from the

parents/guardians concerned.

Parents and GuardiansParents & guardians are requested to co-operate with the school

in maintaining discipline and establishing healthy tradi�ons by :

(a) Acknowledging promptly all school circulars regarding fees,

escorts, progress reports and complying with instruc�ons regarding extra tutorial a�en�on to be given

during the vaca�on.

(b) Not asking for leave during terms except in excep�onal cases.

(c) Not visi�ng the boys other than on prescribed days/occasion. (Second Saturday of the month).

(d) Equipping the boys properly with clothing and necessary items.

(e) Not sending sweets and other eatables.

(f) Ensuring that the boy rejoins the school on the due date a�er each vaca�on.

(g) Not sending clothing which has not been included in the list of authorised clothing (however, boys

proceeding to colder climates during the vaca�on must be provided with suitable warm clothing by the

parents).

(h) Ensure that the boy is not in possession of valuable ar�cles such as gold chains, costly watches, rings, studs

etc.

(i) By wri�ng the boy's school number, Name, House and class on all le�ers addressed to him.

(j) Indica�ng the School Number, Name, Class and House of the boy in all correspondence with the school and

enclosing a self addressed, stamped envelope if a reply is expected.

(k) Parents under no circumstances will visit class-rooms or dorms.

(l) PTA mee�ng is held in every session as per school calender and it is desirable that all parents must a�end.

Medical Standard for Admission to Sainik SchoolAll candidates before admission to the Sainik School will be subjected to a medical examina�on by a Board

consis�ng of military/ civil doctors. The standard of health and medical fitness would be the same as laid down

for the NDA Examina�on. In view of the tender age of the boys, however, no standards of height, weight and

chest measurement will be applicable at the �me of admission.

The decision of the Medical Board will be final, except where a representa�on has been made to the Principal.

The Principal will examine the appeal himself and decide with reference to the evidence produced before him if

the case calls for a review. Medical opinion contrary to the findings of the previous medical board(s) will normally

merit a review. The Principal may arrange a review medical board for re-examina�on of the candidate. If the

review medical board finds him medically fit for admission, the Principal will consider him for admission to the

school. The school will charge a fee of ̀ 100/- (` 50/- from SC/ST) for holding a review medical board. Addi�onal

expenditure, if any will be borne by the school. However, the candidate will be required to appear before the

Review Medical Board at the designated place at his own expense. In case the Review Medical Board finds him fit

for admission, the fee charged from the parent will be refunded.

The minimum acceptable visual standards will be as under :-

The Minimum acceptable visual standard for admission to Sainik School will be standard II. Candidates with

visual standard II admi�ed to NDA a�er successful comple�on of their training in Sainik School may be found fit

for Army only.

Notes :

(a) Ensure that :-

(i) Myopia not to exceed minus 1.5 including as�gma�sm.

(ii) Manifest Hypermypia not to exceed plus 2.5 Soh including as�gma�sm.

(iii) Fundus @ Media to be healthy with no changes by myopia.

(iv) Visual Fields to be full in each eye.

(v) Binocular vision and steropsis must be good.

(vi) The colour Blindness should not exceed CP-III

(vii) Mild Trachoma State III or IV with a regressive ceneal pannus of not more than 1 to 2mm may be accepted in

the opinion of the specialist, exacerba�on of deteriora�on are not likely.

(b) It will also be ensured that :-

(i) There is no evidence of weak cons�tu�on, imperfect development, serious malforma�on or obesity weight

should not exceed the upper limit laid down in standard scale for 11 years/ 14 years.

(ii) The age restric�on is between 10-11 years/13-14 years.

(iii) There is normal development or impairment of func�on of the bones of joints

(iv) There is no impediment of speech like stammering etc.

(v) There is no malforma�on of the head, deformity from fracture or depression of the bones of the skull.

(vi) There is no impaired hearing, discharge from or disease of either ear unhealed or perfora�on of the

tympanic membrane of signs of acute or chronic suppura�ve o��s Media or evidence of redical or

modified redical mastoid opera�on.

A soundly healed perfora�on without any impairment of the mobility of the drum and without any

impairment of hearing should not be a cause of rejec�on.

(vii) There is no disease of the bones of car�lages of the nose or nasal polypus disease or of the nasodharynx

and accessory sinuses.

(viii) There is no enlarged glands in the neck and other parts of the body and that thyroid gland is normal. Scars of

person for the removal of tuberculous glands are not a cause for rejec�on provided that there has been no

ac�ve disease with in the preceeding 5 years and the chest is clinically and radiologically clear.

(ix) There is no disease of throat palates, tonsil and gums disease or injury affec�ng the normal func�on of

either mandibular joints. Simply hypertophy of the tonsils, if there is no history of a�acks of tonsilli�s, is not

a cause of rejec�on.

(x) There is no sign of func�onal or organic disease of the heart and blood vessels.

(xi) There is no evidence of pulmonary tuberculosis or previous history of this disease or any other chronic

disease of the lungs like Asthma etc.

(xii) There is no evidence of any disease of diges�ve system including any abnormality of the liver and spleen.

(xiii) There is no hernia or tendency thereto.

(xiv) There is no hydrocele or definite veriocele or other disease of defect of the genital organs. A candidate who

has been operated upon for hydrocele will be accepted if there are no abnormali�es of the cord and tes�cle

and there is no evidence of filariasis.

(xv) There is no fistual and/or fissure of the anus or evidence of haemorrhoid.

(xvi) There is no disease of the kidney. All cases of Albuminiuria and Glycosure will be rejected.

(xvii) There are no disease of the skin of allergic nature like aczema, chronic ul�curea etc. are likely to cause

disability or marked disfigurement are a cause for rejec�on.

(xviii) There is no ac�ve, latent congenital venereal disease.

(xix) There is no history of evidence of mental disease. Candidate suffering from epilepsy incon�nence of urine

or ensuresis will not be accepted.

(xx) There is no squint of morped condi�on of the eye or of the lids which is liable to a risk of aggrava�on or

recurrence.

(xxi) There is no ac�ve trachoma or its complica�ons.

Note :-

Remedial opera�ons are to be performed prior to entry. No guarantee is given of ul�mate acceptance and it

should be clearly understood by the candidate that decision whether an opera�on is desirable or necessary is to

be made by his private medical advisor. The School will accept no liability regarding the result of opera�on or any
