At Galve, mar Teruel, bur interesting trackways were discovered in 1992. One of Ihem, Trachway Fom-, is one of the oldest knm from the Creta- ceous, and me the smallest (or the smallest) track wer attributed lo a quadrupedal onŸtho pod. The Galve regiun is justif'ably famous for its Comspondtng authtic archosaur fauna (Buscalioni and Sanz, 1987') and f-r the maml afisemblap (Canudo and C m ca-Bescœa 1996). The aim of this paper is to de- scribe this new &mur trachate1 and make inter- pretations of the pcssible trackrnakers. Discoveries of dinosaur footprints have become relativdy coairnon in the Lower Cretaceous of Uve northwt'stern Iberian Range (Casanovas et al., 1989,1993; MocataUa ei al., 1988,1992,1994; Ben- @ea el al,, 1993; Pérez-Lment et aL, 1995) in La Rioja and neighboring ams (Fig. 1). They are typicdy found in continental sedimentary uniis hown in the regional literature as the Wealden facies. In the southeast of the Iberian-Range, in (he Aliaga basin, dinosaur footpruits are known in the Castellar Format'on, at Los Corrales del Pele- j h tracksite, near Calve [Casanovas et al., 1983- 84, Cuenca et al., 1993). Thenew ttacksite is locat- ed in the Galve wcea (ME SpaŸi Fig. 1) and, h contras! to most of the dinosaur tracksites de- scni h the continental udts (Wealden hries) of the Iberian Rango, the tracka are located in the upper part of the shallow marine sedimentary units o' the Villar del Arzobispo Fonnaticm.
