    Teachers should be held accountable for students achievements, however we must also get parents

    involved with the kids as well. School board must get parents more involved in students education to help

    teachers communicate better with students and parents. School boards need to listen more to the

    parents to achieve this goal.

    I am not in favor of Amendment 66. I don't believe that the problem is public education is lack of funding,

    and I am not in favor of the state collecting $1 billion dollars a year in extra taxes with no clear

    understanding of how the fund will be used and no guarantees that the money collected from residents of

    TSD will actually return to our district.

    I do not support the tax increase on the ballot this year. I think taxes are too high as it is and I believe it

    could potentially lower the amount of PRR monies Thompson School District will receive.

    I don't support Amendment 66 because it does not require accountability, it does not assure

    reform. Forty percent of high school graduates need remedial education before progressing into

    college. Administrators and union receive too much money. We are top heavy. The number of

    administrators increased by 83% while student numbers increase by 38% .
