Benefits for Romania from the ABC + De project • Solution for transportation of passenger and goods on the main directions in
Romania: Center- Iasi, Center - Cluj-Napoca (Satu Mare, Baia Mare, Oredia), Center- Timisoara / Arad, South- North and East-West directions.
• Improving transport communication between Romanian regions. • More than tenfold increase in cargo traffic by rail (about 120 000 million
ton*kilometers at the international SNS freight destinations, passing through Romania); about 4240 million passenger*kilometers at the inland high-speed destinations.
• Increasing connectivity in Eastern, Central and Northern Europe. Easy access to the new Europe trade gates on the Baltic and on the Eastern Mediterranean; to Turkey, Middle and Far East.
• A significant increase in cargo turnover of Romanian ports, resulting from the conversion of the Danube waterway ( in decline) to complete transport corridor.
• Termination of floods in the Romanian section of the Danube River. • Developing regions . Developing of the country center and large regional
cities. Opening of new jobs. Greatly increasing of gross domestic product (GDP).
• Large amount of investment ( XX* Billion euro) in Romania on the ABC+De project.
