Model Dell Latitude Criminal Charges Handling Stolen Goods

REPORT: This laptop was literally stolen from the owner’s feet as he was standing in line for check in. It was gone in an instant. Within a few days we were able to see the laptop connecting with our monitoring center. The suspect user was identified as a resident of Spain who was due to fly home on December 17, 2012. I made contact with the Investigating Officer at the Oslo Airport Police. How do you know this he asked? Simple, through the Absolute Forensic Tools I obtained a screen capture showing the users online boarding pass. A complete summary was sent to the Oslo Airport Police and the suspect was stopped at the airport and the laptop was found in the luggage. The suspect has been arrested for handling stolen goods.

“The suspect had several devices; yet, we could only confirm the laptop as stolen; security software like this is important in tracking and recovering.”
