Model Dell Inspiron Criminal Charges Outstanding warrants REPORT: Despite being stolen over three years earlier, this laptop did not connect to the Internet with any regularity until 2013. At that time, the Investigations and Recovery Team monitored suspect activity that included research on various theft techniques as well as information on low-level assassination methods. Research about two local law enforcement agencies was also discovered. The investigator used Absolute Forensic Tools to identify the suspected user and contacted local police. The suspicious activity regarding theft and injury was also relayed to the detective working the case. It was discovered that the suspect had outstanding warrants and a criminal record. The laptop was recovered and returned to the victim. Even after years without use, the Investigations and Recovery Team was able to track and recover this stolen laptop, and potentially prevent serious injury to other victims.
