Tiger Class Worship
World Book Day
We were treated to a fantastic Tiger class worship this week focusing on
Book Week.
The children taught us that is important to feed our minds as well as our bodies to keep our
brains active and healthy!
World Book Day!
Author/Illustrator
Visit
This week we welcomed author/illustrator
Loretta Shauer to Langafel.
We were lucky enough to have Loretta spend the whole day with us, focusing on illustrating
their work and reading to the children.
Turtle Class
A wonderful effort from everyone in Turtle class. A special Well
done to Lola Burkett (Turtle) who won best dressed and actually
made part of her costume.
Shared Reading
Wolf and Turtle class joined forces and
thoroughly enjoyed sharing their books
with each other.
School shoes A reminder that children should be wearing black school shoes and NOT trainers to school. If your child has to wear other shoes temporarily whilst new shoes are being bought please
make sure they are appropriate and send a letter into school explaining the reason for not
wearing school shoes.
PARKING
SCHOOL DROP OFF
We have had several complaints from the houses surrounding
Langafel.
Please be considerate to our neighbours and refrain from parking across their driveways or blocking off roads where the
emergency services may need to access.
We have been informed that licence plate numbers are being
passed on to the police.
The gate to the main school entrance is NOT a safe place to
drop off your children!
This entrance should only be used by blue badge holders and parents with children in SLIC. Please do not use this area as a place to make U-turns or to reverse on to the main road—
this is for the safety of your children!
The safety car will fine parents who are caught on the
zigzags.
