Sculpture Quadrangle
Sculptural Quadrangle
The high trees make for an open walk
for students between classes while also
making an open, scenic view.
The bench is strategically placed beneath the shade of the trees
to keep students cool while resting or studying between classes.
Students exit from class to the very relaxing scenic
view. They can also enjoy the view as they pass
from class to class.
The quadrangle is also used to display sculptures.
When the picture was taken no sculptures were on
display.
The sidewalks between classes are located
mainly in the shade of the trees and buildings
for the convenience of students going to and
from class.
Trash cans are placed right outside of thedoors so students can conveniently throw
their trash away and keep the quadrangle
clean.

Sculptural Quadrangle
The Sculptural Quadrangle is a rectangular court yard that is lined one two sides with oak trees. These trees
provide shade throughout the day. There are multiple seating places for people throughout the day and it could
possible gain some architectural recognition with the addition of some sculptures or statues.

Asakura Robinson Company
I believe the best firm for the Sculptural Quadrangle is
the Asakura Robinson Company. They have had experience
in Park Design, Urban Design, Campus, and Residential which
are all perfect for the Sculptural Quadrangle. The Sculptural
Quadrangle is a very big project because there are lots of
people who use it and will see it every day. I am from
Houston, Texas and I know Asakura Robinson Company has
worked on the University of Houstons campus. I have visited
there and think that they did a great job. They won the
Mayors Proud Partner Award for Distinguished Service in
2005 and more recently won the Presidents Call to Service
Award in 2009. The company has proven their worth over
the years and Keiji Asakura has 33 years of experience in
landscape architecture. He has an excellent team of
landscape architects with innovative and creative minds. A beautiful example of how well Asakura
Robinson Company can combine nature,
architecture and a campus.
