My InspirationDuring the first visit to Poole I discovered this passage. It’s located off the dull part of the High Street. It was the first think that really inspired me . I knew by that tha I would like to declate the site to make those gems shine. The uniqueness of this open drain was a project spark.
Poole is a postindustrial town dominated by the heavy traffic. However public spaces are isolated and difficult to navigate through. Many postindustrial sites, occupying key locations are empty, forming movement barriers. On the other had is one of the world’s biggest natural harbor with stunning views. My objective for the project was to create chain of public destinations linked with each other by walkable corridors. I have been inspired by hidden walkways, found on the High Street.

HAMWORTHY PROPOSED SITE PLAN 1:500by Magdalena Pelka de Armas K0959854

HAMWORTHY Hamworthy proposal was one of the pieces in destination chain. Strategically located opposite to Poole quay on post power plant site. The park would serve the large housing adjacent existing communities, as well as planned new hous-ing development. The soil of the site was highly contaminated, which was one of the reasons to create hills made of waste building materials. The views of the harbor would be seen from hill top’s gardens.

SCHOKLAND REGIONAL PLANNING
Noordest polder located in Netherlands is facing the issue of sinking ground. Raining temperature and more unpredictable rainfall makes the situation more serious and economically less relevant. The objective of the proposal was to allow nature to take its course, giving back manmade land back to the sea, creating new type of spaces.
