ImprovedperformanceandefficiencyCombining an electric drive with a traditional turbocharger, the newly developed MTU eCharger enables electrically assisted charging of off-highway combustion engines in the power range above 450 kW. The system increases the acceleration capability of engines and load response capabilities while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
