resistance than typical laminates, and protects against fading and staining.

T-Molding (TTMXXXXX)

Ensures a smooth transition between laminate and other flooring on the same level. It can also be used as an expansion joint for laminate flooring (every 40 feet of length and width).

Provides an elegant finish for landings or stairs.

IT ’S NICE TO LOOK AMAZING WITH SO LITTLE EFF OR T.

Tarkett Laminate floors are easy to clean and maintain. For day-to-day maintenance, all you need is a damp mop. For tougher cleanups, we suggest Tarkett SureShine® cleaning solution.

Following are some simple steps that’ll help keep your Tarkett Laminate floor looking great:

• Vacuum or sweep up installation debris immediately after installation, beater bars turned off if vacuuming.

• Use proper rests, glides or casters (preferably wide, smooth, nonstaining, protective load-bearing devices) under furniture to avoid scratches or indentation from frequent movement.

CAUTION: Casters on portable appliances, dishwashers and microwave carts can cause damage to laminate floors. Use extreme caution when moving these items around on any laminate floor.

• Choose nonstaining mats or area rugs in doorways and entranceways to trap excessive moisture, sand, grit and debris.

• Avoid using rubber-backed mats or rugs.

• Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove loose debris as needed.

• For regular cleaning, dilute a neutral base cleaner, i.e., Tarkett SureShine, in warm water, wring out the mop or sponge until damp and mop. Never apply cleaner/water solution directly to the floor.

• Don’t use soap- or oil-based cleaning products, i.e., liquid dish cleaners or pine cleaners.

• Don’t use abrasive cleaners or pads, i.e., cleanser or nylon pads.

• Don’t use protective coating on your laminate floor, for example, wax, polish or urethane coating.

• For tough stains and spills, wipe up promptly with a damp cloth.

Note: As with any floor, immediate attention to stain removal is of the utmost importance.

How to remove scuffs and stains, if they occur:

• Scuffs and surface marks (rubber heel marks): Apply fantastik® or Direct® multipurpose cleaners directly to stain, let stand for 10-15 seconds and rub with a clean, damp cloth. Some marks may require a small amount of mineral spirits* applied on a clean cloth.

• Tough household stains (acid, alkali, blood, ketchup, mustard, food dye, fruit juice, rust, urine, excrement): Mix a neutral cleaner with water and apply with a clean cloth, gently rubbing into the stain. You can also treat stubborn stains by mixing a one-to-one concentration of water to liquid bleach, saturating a cloth with that solution, and treating the stain for up to a maximum of one hour. Rinse with clean water applied with a clean, damp cloth.

• Solvent paints and stains (hair dye, iodine, Mercurochrome, nail polish, oil-based paints, wood stains): Remove excess immediately, rub lightly with a clean white cloth soaked in mineral spirits.*

• Miscellaneous stains (adhesives, asphalt, candle wax, grease, oil, tar): Carefully scrape residue with a putty knife, being careful not to scratch the floor. Rub lightly with a cloth soaked in mineral spirits,* then use isopropyl alcohol* on a clean cloth.

* CAUTION: Mineral spirits and alcohol are flammable solvents. Please follow cautions on container.
