We will address topics like “why do bad things happen to good people”, “what about other religions”, “why do marriages fail”, and other issues you have identified. We will have worship and regular teaching time and then provide questions and additional resources to encourage discussion among family and friends. Join us this summer as we tackle these very relevant topics that matter to you. Our children will be joining us for this series. baptism at the lake Would you like to be baptized in Lake Michigan during the annual Church picnic at Camp Geneva on Saturday, August 25th? If so, please stop by the Connection Station and sign up for the class that takes place before the baptism. cedar point trip August 14 and 15. 5:30am to 12 noon (Wednesday). Cost $65.00 per person. Please call Mike Merlino 616.566.7094 for more information. food truck The food truck is a ministry where anyone can serve others by handing out food to those in need. The food truck now comes on the third Saturday of the month (unless otherwise posted). If interested, please call the church office at 394.5500, or just show up. The next food truck is scheduled for Saturday, August 18. Come out and join us. Distribution begins at 1:00pm in the parking lot. Please be at church by noon. bale farewell reception You are warmly welcomed to our farewell gathering on Thursday, August 30 at 7:00pm. There will be drinks,treats and childcare. They will be sharing a complete overview of the exciting things God has been doing in their area of Africa and the hope they have for the future. bale’s box If you took a tag from the Africa map, please bring your item to church ASAP. children’s ministry:children’s ministry kioskChildren’s Ministry is provided for children ages 0 through kindergarten. If you are a visitor, please stop by the children’s ministry Kiosk so we can register your child.

Children with special needs are welcome; please see the children’s ministry greeter for assistance.

Children ages 4-6 will start in the service and will be dismissed after worship.

Children 1st grade and up are invited to remain in the service and participate with their families.

ark room cleaning:We are looking for volunteers Thursday, Friday, Saturday, August 9, 10 and 11, from 9:00am until noon, to give the Ark Room and its contents a thorough c lean ing and f reshen ing up i n preparation for the Fall season.
