General Description of Intent

Ladd-Peebles Sports & Entertainment Complex (LPSEC) is committed to the safety of its patrons and employees while still providing memorable experiences to our guests. The following policies, procedures and guidelines have been established by LPSEC to comply with any and all existing State of Alabama or City of Mobile Safe At Home orders and for the safe opening and operations of the venue through the following underlying methods:

1. Reduce the amount of physical touch points by re-evaluating and installing new processes and procedures as well as utilizing applicable technological advancements.

2. Produce concise and meaningful messaging to our guests through onsite signage, P.A. and scoreboard announcements and social and digital media platforms.

3. Increased LPSEC participation in planning with promoters and clients to influence patron behaviors and ensure order compliance.

This document will be periodically reviewed and evaluated based on the current situation and developments, and any possible changes in CDC Guidelines or State ofAlabama orders. The most recent State of Alabama Safer At Home Order was issued on November 5, 2020.

LPSEC Seating & Layout Facts

There are currently several aspects of Ladd-Peebles Stadium’s layout, design and

seating capacity which will prove beneficial and offer increased safety for fans when

hosting events which require social distancing and Covid-19 safety guidelines. They

include:

1. Seating Capacity – Ladd-Peebles Stadium has a seating capacity of 38,588

bleacher-style seats with the following breakdown: West Side – 13,680, East Side –

15,292, North End Zone – 4,851 and South End Zone – 4,765. The stadium will work

with specific events to maintain seating that complies with a 6’ minimum distancing

between parties of other households, which results in a seating maximum of

approximately 17 percent of total seating capacity.

2. Eleven (11) Different Entry Gates and Stadium Access Points to ensure social

distancing is maintained upon entry.

3. Multiple restroom locations throughout facility

4. Multiple concession facilities & point of sale locations

5. Large Parking Lot surrounding facility

Overview of New Policies

LPSEC new social distancing and safety policies

and procedures will be accomplished through

three main areas of concentration:

1. Reduced Seating Capacity

2. Fan Experience

3. Staffing & Execution

Page 5: LADD-PEEBLES SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT ... - LendingTree Bowl

Reduced Seating Capacity

In order to maintain a minimum of

6’ distance from members of

different households as part of its

compliance with the State of

Alabama’s current Safer At Home

Order, the stadium’s seating

capacity is set at 17 percent, or

roughly 6,555 fans.

This is determined by eliminating

all seating in two out of every

three rows of the stadium. In rows

where seating is allowed, a

minimum of five seats

(approximately 6’) are

eliminated from available

seating.

Seats where seating is not

allowed are marked with red

tape, and signage is located

throughout the stadium clearly

defining the policy.

Key Takeaway -- By Reducing Seating Capacity by 83

percent from 38,588 to 6,555, we can create a seating chart

that still maintains 6’ of social distancing between parties.

Within rows that

are sold, 5 seats

of buffer between

seats

2 out of every 3

rows left as a

buffer

or chairs will be allowed to be

set up next to parked vehicles in

the lot. Adequate security and

signage will be placed in the lot

to ensure compliance by

individuals. Fans are encouraged

to enter stadium immediately

after parking vehicle.

Key Takeaway – LPSEC’s parking lot can

accommodate approximately 1,200 cars. No

tailgating will be allowed to ensure social

distancing.
