Volunteer Appreciation Afternoon Tea
Our annual Volunteer Appreciation Afternoon Tea is on Tuesday 3 Decem-
ber at 2pm. It is our small way of acknowledging the assistance of parents
and community members throughout the year. Without this assistance our
school would not function as well as it does.
Year 7 Transition Day - Irrawang High School
Thursday 5 December from 9.15am till 2.15pm there is a transition session
for students who will be attending Irrawang High School in 2020. A bus has
been organised to transport children from Grahamstown Public School to
Irrawang High School and return in the afternoon at no cost to parents.
Students are required to wear full school uniform and will need to bring
lunch, recess, a hat and water with them. Please ensure that the permis-
sion note is returned to Mrs Trembath.
Presentation Day
All members of our school community are invited to attend our Presenta-
tion Day on Monday 9 December in the school hall. Years 3 - 6 will be held
at 9am and K - 2 will be held at 12pm.
Carols by Candlelight
This year our Carols by Candlelight will be held on Wednesday 11 Decem-
ber at 5.30pm. From this time our P&C will be cooking a BBQ and the can-
teen will also be selling speciality food. There will be a jumping castle, face
painting, craft activities and a visit from Santa. From 7pm - 8pm all stu-
dents will be participating in the carols. Please bring your picnic blankets or
fold up chairs. We hope to see you all there!
End of Year Party Day
This year we are holding an end of year party celebration on Friday 13 De-
cember, the students will participate in the Challenge2Bfit program which
provides an inflatable obstacle course for students to enjoy. Students are
able to dress in comfortable mufti with socks, enclosed shoes and sun safe
clothing. School hats are to be worn. Please return the permission note for
your child to participate in this activity.
Year 6 Farewell
We will be holding the Year 6 Farewell on Tuesday 17 December. Stu-
dents are to be at school from 5.30pm and parents are invited to attend
from 7.15pm for the farewell ceremony. It is $10 per student for dinner,
please return money and permission note to the office by Tuesday 10 De-
cember.
Last Day of School
The last day of school for students will be Wednesday 18 December.
