These Biological Safety Cabinets are class II/Type 2 and are designed for universities,

research laboratories, pharmaceuticals companies to protect both users and procedures

from contamination when working with biological fields.

HOW IT WORK : Minimum airflow velocity is 100 fpm (0.51 m/s) through face opening.

HEPA filtered down flow air is a portion of the mixed down flow and inflow air from a

common exhaust plenum. All contaminated ducts and plenums are under negative

pressure.

FUME HOOD FUME HOOD

Fabricated out of thick wooden board. It designed so as to throw out all toxic/harmful

vapors & fumes thus protecting costly instruments and the persons working in the lab.

Outer is finished with sunmica and inner epoxy painted. Working table top is acid/alkali

resistant and a small wash basin with connections provided for inlet and outlet of water.

The front door moves vertically up and down with concealed counter balanced weights.

The unit is fitted with fluorescent light and a gas cock for gas/air supply. The front facing

panel is fitted with 15/5 Amp socket with swtiches for exhaust system and fluorescent light.

To work on 220 volts A.C-50 Hz supply.
