    1ST SEMESTER / S. Y. 2015-2016

EXPERIMENT TITLE : Discrete and Continuous Time Signal Generation

    EXERCISE NUMBER : 1

    COURSE CODE : ECE328L

    SECTION/SCHEDULE : 59034 / WEDNESDAY 2:00-5:00

NAME: : Herrera, Aileen May S.

  • I. Using MATLAB commands, generate the following waveforms or signals used in Signal processing and systems: Use your terminal number for all values of TN.

Use value of n equal to your TN multiplied by 10 and should be an integer.

    a. Sinusoidal signal (10pts) V(t) = 10cos150t volts and

V[n] from converting V(t) to discrete time signal using Nyquist rate.(fs=2fa)

where fa= analog frequency content of signal.

    Use V[n]=10cos2(fa/fs)n

    b. Y[n] = 10 e-(TN+TNj)n where TN=terminal number

    c. A[n] = TNe10TN

    d. VAM = [1+(10/100)sin2(TN/100)n]sin2(10/100)n (10points)
