During the semester, I focused on improving my faith. Due to several

challenges, this proved difficult. These last few weeks have been very demanding and

very challenging for our family. We had been caring for my grandmother off and on

for several months which provided several recurring difficulties. Throughout this

time, we faced our normal challenges, as well as all the accompanying challenges of

our responsibility with her. This included spending many nights at her house to make

sure that she was fine and wouldn’t wander outside. This often affected school

 because she has no internet at her house, forcing me to narrow the timeframe in which

I could work on my school work. This required a lot of faith, especially because I

didn’t know whether or not it would be sufficient. ecause of her declining health, it

 became apparent that the help we were providing her with was no longer adequate, as

she needed additional help. !he is now living in "tah in a care facility, where she

could receive round the clock care. The whole ordeal was very wearisome, and often

 provided ways to practice faith and patience. In fact, in many ways, we still practice

faith in her regard.

When I started my becoming pro#ect, I had thought that #ust knowing what I

was inspired to work on would be easy enough if I #ust would follow what I knew to

 be true and did all the things that were required of me. ut what I discovered is I had

to totally entrust my life to my $ord, meaning like the %aredites in their barges being

tossed about and still singing praises unto their $ord. Working on my attribute has

helped me & to a certain degree & to push aside my inadequacies and continue to plow

through life, not knowing the precise outcome, but a belief that all will be alright and

the things I was doing is good.

'lthough I was not very comfortable with the activity, I knew that it was

important that I work on activities that would stretch me and give me opportunity for

growth. The scriptures give us countless e(amples of faithful prophets, such as )ephi,

'binadi, 'lma, 'mulek, *oroni, *ormon, etc. Their e(amples are beneficial for me

to emulate, and e(emplify what I want to become. I still have a long way to go, but I

learned that I must continually cry unto the $ord for the strength only he can provide

me with. I have witnessed his love for me as I struggled to stay afloat amid my many

life difficulties.
