diligently# 'hi! !how! the degree to which e!u! appro(e! the word! o$ I!aiah# I!aiah

talk! !y&bolically and i! all o(er the place a! $ar a! ti&e)periodic under!tanding goe!#

I ha(e di$$iculty under!tanding I!aiah, !o I concluded that in order to under!tand the

word! o$ I!aiah, I &u!t pray $or the *pirit o$ re(elation to help &e under!tand the&

'oday &y $riend wa! going through a rough ti&e# *he recei(ed new! $ro& her doctorthat potentially could be de(a!tating# My heart ached $or her and I knew that i$ !he

had a ble!!ing, !he would $eel od"! lo(e $or her and will $eel at peace# *o I

approached her to a!k i$ !he wanted a ble!!ing# *he -uickly !aid ye!# .ater on that

e(ening, &y dad and I went to her ho&e# We e/plained to her and her hu!band that

od"! power i! on the earth today# 'hi! power i! gi(en to all worthy &ale! to ble!!

other!# We e/plained that we were gi(en thi! power and that it would be u!ed to ble!!

her# We talked $or about 20 &inute!# It wa! a !pecial ti&e# I $elt od"! lo(e $or u! and

$or her# *he $elt !trengthened# *he $elt peace and cal 'he ble!!ing wa! beauti$ul#

%ea(enly ather a! %e wa! the one who ble!!ed her# e!terday, !he wa! ready to ha(e

a &a!tecto&y and today, !he wa! &ore po!iti(e and ha! a glow about her# *he

 pro$u!ely thanked &e# I re&inded her o$ what wa! !aid in the ble!!ing to thank odher!el$ and to tru!t the doctor!#

&e# In 2008, lder 9ednar ga(e a talk on tender &ercie!# 'hi! talk ha! been on &y

&ind becau!e o$ an e(ent that happened today# My li$e ha! been (ery bu!y lately, and

&y car get! the lea!t priority on the cleanup !ide o$ thing!# It i! e/tre&ely &e!!y right

now# I had !o&e $a&ily in town earlier thi! week, and they needed a ride to the

airport# I decided to !pend a little ti&e cleaning it up to be able to $it their luggage in

the car# 4 day later, I wa! at work and a $ew co)worker! decided to go to lunch# It

ne(er happened be$ore, but thi! ti&e, I wa! (olunteered to dri(e the I would ha(e

 been e&barra!!ed i$ I ha! not cleaned up &y car# 4! !i&ple a! it wa!, it &eant a lot to
