Designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, one of the greatest 19th century American landscape

architects—with New York’s Central Park among his many prestigious projects, the formal gardens are beautifully terraced and framed by the Estate’s hallmark stone walls. A small pond and fully restored summer teahouse complete the charm of these elegant heirloom gardens and off er a picturesque backdrop for keepsake photos. In addition, the Estate can enhance your event with a horse-drawn coach or wagon ride—perfect for making a grand entrance to a wedding or for entertaining party guests.

The rambling fi elds and trails that surround the main grounds provide a perfect locale for team-building activities during corporate retreats or for games and sports at a family reunion.
